Yes, I get the same call from this number at least twice daily, and no one ever answers when I pick up.

Same here - called back to see who it was and got an automated reply that it was the Shriners. I am on the national do not call list, but because they are a charity, they are exempt - however, if they were to honour the do not call list [ after all, I signed up because I do not want any solicitous calls!], then they would not have to listen to my angry vitreol when they finally do call me. Bad enough that they phone, but to not even be there when I put down what I am doing and pick up the phone - what an arrogance!!

I got 2 calls from this number in a half hour. I picked up at the second ring and all I got was dead air. It's extremely annoying!

March 11 2008  Victoria BC  Lady was polite, asked for a resident of our household.  He was not home, and she did not persist.  Would not say what it was about.

THE ANSWER.   Call the Shriners at 604 291-7707 ext 26 and advise them of "no further donations unless your number is removed from the list", (remember to provide your number).

I do believe this number is the Credit company MBNA.

Richmond BCI keep getting unwanted calls from these people. Last night a VERY rude man called and tried to elicit a certain amount of money from me.I have donated to the Gizha Shriners for several years, but will NEVER do so a***n. The Shriners should look into this company and their rude telemarketers.

We kept getting the call as well. Today was the last straw. So I called it back and got some Giasha Shrine group! with another number to call 1-800-710-7081 got some automated service that was full of **** about tickets and charity donations so on then at the end was a message about pressing 9 to have your number removed as long as you do not have call block. ***** THAT I HAVE CALL BLOCK! so I pressed 1 and they said it would take a few days. Next I am going to track who actually host the phone, then complain to the state department. That should put a bug in their ****!

Same as all the rest of you, these phone-vermin call repeatedly, day after day.  They are probably using an autodailer, which means it's not even a human being there.  Does anyone know who they actually are?  Likely just some scammer outfit trying to find someone to bilk.  I'd love to see them punished for the pestilential low-life that they are. Meanwhile, no message = no response.

These people call 2-3 times a day I am sick of it, I have asked them to stop calling and they say ok but continue to call!! FIND THEM AND DO SO****ING!  They are driving us all crazy! For the amountof money I spend on a telephone bill I should at least have the option to NOT recieve annoying hone calls!!

Serious phone spammer.  Every day - twice a day. There must be some way to "black hole" this ****.

This number has called 4 times a day for 2 weeks. When I answer they don't say anything at all and **** up within seconds. It's very annoying.

Keep getting this number and other's almost every day of the week. Never answer them unless they leave a message which they never do, so the calls aren't that important.

Telus' Call Screen doesn't work with 800 numbers. Its in their restrictions. The only way I've been able to rid myself of these people is answer & tell them to take me off their call list. It's illegal for them to keep calling after that. If I could get someone one the other end of this call, I would tell them that but so far its dead silence.

Remove them with Telus Call Screen*60     You must activate call screen the 1st time. Just add numbers after that.#01#    adds last number that called to call screen list1 800-736-7608 will never annoy me a***n.
