These scamming criminals call at all hours and never leave a message. Calling for $$99 from an alleged 5yr old hospital bill that I showed proof of payment & had my receipt. From what I understand is that they are not supposed to be calling people and that's why they never leave a message. Beware.

They will not answer phone. They just call and call you to return call.

Called and asked my juvenile (young) son information about us (parents), alternate phone numbers, and then asked for HIS name (my young son) and said the phone call was being monitored.  It does not sound legal and it is definitely WRONG.  Who are these people (and I use that term loosely)?

Yeah, the company is called Preferred Collections, a debt collection agency. They will also call from 813-251-0802, and give you a specific name to ask for when calling back.

I got the same call, I could barely understand her foreign accent.  I feel the same way, if they do not tell me why they are calling and I do not know them, I do not call back.
