I got four calls with no message right behind each other from this phone number. Please stop........
This number keeps calling me about cable internet service, which I already have with them.
Noone called me, I saw a banner on the television (on SpikeTV) about losing these channels. I PROTEST! VEHEMENTLY! And those aren't letters, they are numbers! 7776
i called them, the number they are putting on the bottom of our tv. of the black out tonight of 19 channels. well you can't get an answer cause it is busy, and i bet it is OFF the hook!!! what gets me is that cable can raise our prices but take away our channels and get away with it. now come on cable time warner lets get it together, either give us our channels and do thr price increase or if you take away our channels than give us people a break lower your darn prices!!!! your just like any other company, you are greety!!!!!
According to TWC cust serv there is a contract that expires tonight, 12/31/08, and the company who owns the 19 channels, Viacom(?), is demanding a price increase of 3x the amount they currently receive and TWC is resisting that increase. Of course if they agree we will all pay for the increase, again. The message is on our screens thanks to the company who owns the 19 channels, not TWC. I only get a busy signal when I call 800-762-3786, so I called TWC cust serv instead.

I get the same message on my tv screen. Kind of like a weather warning. Saying call this number we can change this from happening. Sure time warner.....you should of not let this happen.
the channels you are getting rid of are all channels that have popularity and if this is your way of sucking more money out of us. than time warner is not a respectable cable network and people should get entertainment at a different company are you goning to take these channels away and than make us pey extra for them? if so your cheap and over the line and you suck
If MTV is being so greedy then TWC should drop them and lower our cost and if MTV continues to be greedy then they will not have any viewers and thus no advertisers. But if TWC is being cheap then other companies like DISH will pickup their customers. They both need each other. I think TWC just wants to see how many people care about these channels and if it looks like people dont care, they will be more likely to tell MTV to take a walk.
I hope that you drop the price your charging me when you drop these 19 channels. It's rediclules That time warner is doing this to it's customers maybe they should be investigated for bing a monopoly in the cable industry. Maybe that would help the customers to have better choices.
I am from CT,I don't even have Time Warner cable and it is scrolling across my television all night and now all morning !! Why would I be seeing the message if I am not a customer?
USE THE MONEY THAT WE PAY YOU TO COMPLETE THE AGREEMENT!! Time Warner please stop being the greedy company that you are and help out your customers for once.

Phony scammers breaking into my cable box and posting things that scroll across my television screen that says i'm gonna lose 18 stations including nickelodeon, noggin, comedy central, etc. and to call this number. It's NOT time warner and they are not getting rid of 18 channels. This is a scam to try to get you to call the number and switch over to them and give them personal information. Don't call that number and give them any information! Call 818-700-6500 to reach the real time warner cable!!!!!
This was a service call from Time Warner Cable and their tech department. They called back from this number after we had been disconnected.
