Chase MC CALLED ME to notify me of the scam. I missed the $.24 charge by ADELE las 11/21. That was nice of them!!! Apparently one of the major card issuers are on to this one. THEY cancelled card and are issuing new one. They even have a recorded message of instructions for this type of situation. They also took away on-line account access.

We just talked about this in a meeting at work today. I remember seeing a charge of .25 cents on my BOA account a few months ago. Went back to look and YEP...it was Adele Services. I will call BOA at lunch to cancel the card.

i was just looking over my bank statement and i also had .21 cents taken on 11/21. we do not have b of a. we bank with a private military bank so i doubt anyone hacked into that. i'm holding now to speak to my bank.

Adele Services charged my credit card .22 on 11/20/08. I do make purchases through Petsmart as well as online at Pet Care Rx which is also a NY number.

Since Adele's is a pet related, an individual on another site suggested that what we may have in common is a purchase at a national pet chain. I make purchases at Petsmart. Anyone else?

Adele Services charged my credit card in the amount of 24 cents on November 20. It is a Visa card issued by my Motorola Credit Union. I too have cancelled my card and it is being reissued.

I just cancelled my B of A Visa dued to this. In reading the bloggers on this site I am repeatedly seeing B of A mentioned. Has anyone had a fraudulent minimum charge by Adele's to a credit or debit card from a bank other than Bank of America? Please respond. Someone could've hacked into their system for our information.

I too received a .26 cent charge on my VISA and have reported it to VISA that I have never heard of this company and would never pay a simple .26 cents on a credit card. They took it off. I pointed out that this seemed like the movie "Office ****e".

They asked if I knew about the charge, if I made the charge (26 cents on 11/20/2008), canceled the card and issued a new number right away. (Call didn't come from this number, but the charges were from Adele)

They hit my MC for $.24 on 11/20/08.

"Adele Services" charged my Visa for 21 cents on November 21. This phone number was listed on my checking account statement. When I called the number a message was given saying the number is "out of service". There apparently is an ongoing fraud scheme that has been inflicted on a number of visa card owners. I had to cancel my card.

Obviously, according to this site and a couple others there has been a data "leak" somewhere including all of our 3 digit CCV numbers on the back of the card. Now I have to go through the inconvenience of canceling my card!

I just noticed a charge for .25 cents on my account. It's from my debit card too. I am complaining to BofA tomorrow. I suggest we all complain to the Fraud Dept at least in our states. Mine is California.

LIke everyone else here, I found a spurious but small charge on my credit card from these *********** with a different 800#. Luckily my Chase card protects me a***nst fraud, so I didn't have to get a new card. Still, it made me very uneasy.

On 11/21,Adele Services withdrew 23 cents, electronically from my credit card, meaning they hacked my computer. This is scarey. I called this company and the line is not in service.

.22 fradulant charge on my debit card. My bank didn't have a clue what was going on and told me there was nothing they can do about the .22 so I cancelled the card as soon as I saw the charge. When I google the company name, I found lots of complatints of this nature but nothing on the actual company - Adele Services. I am disputing the charge and closing the account.

Just saw the .26 charge on our company check card. We had the same thing happen 2 years ago and it followed with about $2500 in fraudulent charges. Needless to say, we're calling our bank to get new cards right now!

I saw the .26 cent charge on my card about a week or two ago. Here is what they appear to be doing. They get a bunch of card numbers, then run a tiny charge to verify good card. Once they see it's good, they sell the number or use it. I just had my bank pull a total of over 103 dollars worth of various charges. IF YOU SEE THIS CHARGE, GET A NEW CARD...

This sounds like a SCAM. You all need to close your accounts and contact the FTC, Federal Trade Commission. The small amount might be a test of your account!

ADELE SERVICE***** my Visa on 11/20 for $.23. Called and disputed and was cross saled fraud protection. Can't understand why the companies we do business with cannot protect our personal information. How can someone batch without having a scan or providing the security code? Ask your your government for better regulations and protections. Adele Services charged my debit account for .26 on 11/21/08 and listed the charge as being for pet supplies. Their 800 number is disconnected and their web site contact info is fake. These people are charging ***DREDS of people small amounts to test for working cards which they will later attempt to steal more money from. If this has happened to you CANCEL YOUR CARD RIGHT AWAY. I rarely use this card. I've used it online to purchase World of Warcraft and on amazon. These thieves could just be testing random cards. This story needs to be reported in the media more so that consumers know what to look for.

I was not called by this phone number. I was charged .25 on 11/20 by Adele Services and this phone number, 800-764-8104 was listed on my bank statement. When I called this number, the recording said, "the number you have dialed is not in service at this time..." Adele Services is charging people minimal amounts on their accounts to see if they will notice it. If the charge goes unnoticed, they s**** making much bigger charges on your account - emptying out your bank account!Luckily, I did notice the small charge and canceled my bank cards. The amounts are small appearently -I guess to lower the likely hood someone will work at getting it removed or that it wount be noticed. or possibly it is to see which credit cards are active and if they get a bank to pay then they come back with a LARGE CHARGE -in any case if you see this number attached to a credit card charge then question your bank and have it returned... Unless someone knows the New York State's States Attorney then further action might be possible.

No one called, same Adele charges everyone else here is talking about. Before I could tell my bank who it was they spit out the name, so evidently this has circulated through the banking community. First/Third Bank is an outsourced fraud monitoring service subscribed to by legit banks for those that wonder. I can't understand why there isn't a safeguard that stopped these transactions before they happened. ****** banking system/Visa/MC. Maybe this is how Uncle Sam intends to get the $700 B they are giving to the rich before the house of cards falls.

We were charged .25 on 11/22/08 a***nst our debit/credit card. I'm cancelling our card tomorrow w/our bank. I am hearing reports that the company/persons in question has the 3 digit pin number from the back of the card. The only place we have used the card with the 3 digit pin was on 11/16 at Circuit City. Apparently all the computers were down at the store we shopped at. The girl had to copy our information on a carbon copy booklet and then imprinted our card. On our copy I noticed the 3 digit pin was wr***ten down along with our name and address. This is the only store I can think of that "may" have "allegedly" stole our card info. Anyone else shop at circuit city lately and have the same happen to them. I'd be interested to know.

I also got the .21 cent charge and googled and found these websites/I tried calling the number and it was disconnected. I had the bank cancel my card. They said one can at least make a report to their state attorney general. I plan on doing this-others might want to as well about this mysterious charge showing up all over the place, by the sounds.

Anyone who has received these charges, CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY NOW. Have them cancel your card and issue a new account number - this is a "test of the waters" of somebody who has generated a large number of cardnumbers, who is making sure that they all work. This person now knows that your card is legitimate, and will save it for future use - possibly to rack up ***dreds or thousands of dollars on your credit card. C****e your card number NOW, before they can get back to it.

This company charged my checking account $.24 on 11/19 it posted to my account on 11/22 and I was just notified by my bank that this could be a fraudulent charge. They have cancelled that debit card. I do not use paypal or amazon.

On Nov 19th they debited $0.21 from my checking account. I have now closed that card however I have concerns about what other info they have about me and was this some "*****r" amount.
