(800) 767-1846

From what I understand this # 800.767.1846 is Discover card calling about accts in collections. I am getting really irritated with this, my account is NOT in collections, is paid in full every month regardless of my balance, and to be getting a call saying I need to call back immediately about a 'personal matter in my name' at 8 am on a Sat is just wrong!! Shame on you Discover. I will be caneceling my acct with you because of this behavior.

It is Discover Card trying to collect on past due accounts. They sometimes have the wrong info from people who had previous #'s. This is NOT a scam, just let them know it is a wrong # if you do not know the person they are calling from. They are very nice and understanding and removed the number without any hassle.

I work at Discover Card in Utah. This is our call back # when you are in collections.  If you paid your bill then you wouldn't have to worry about a collections agent like me calling you on any # we can get our hands on for you.  Thanks and have a great day.

Got a voice mail from this number... they said it was an important business matter and they did not disclose who they were.  Will not be calling anybody back unless they disclose who they are and what it's about.

A lady called my cell phone and left a message saying that she was calling regarding a very important personal matter and to call her back at 800-767-1846.  She didn't leave a company name.  The number that showed up on caller i.d. is 801-902-2091.  I looked googled this number and it appears that many people have been getting phone calls with no message or the same generic message as I did.  If the company talks to a person they say that they are with Discover Card and that the person is behind on a payment and want to take a payment over the phone.  Apparently, they want personal information and become defensive and unprofessional when questioned.  They tell the person not to make internet payments.  It seems that it may be some sort of fraud scam.  You can search the 801-767-1846 number to see lots of comments.  I definitely wouldn't give out any personal information.

Somebody kept calling my phone too, but they were looking for someone named Olga. They kept leaving messages on my phone everyday because I never pick up the phone when they're calling. I finally got mad because they kept calling early in the morning and waking up my baby, so I picked it up and told them no one by this name lived here...it turned out they thought they were calling an office number and not a home number. I explained to them that they're calling wrong number. The next week, they s****ed calling back a***n. This time, I was really mad because I already told them it was the wrong number. I yelled at them not to call here anymore and I think they finally listened because the calls have stopped. I tried looking up the phone number in the reverse yellow page look up, but it didn't show who the number belongs to.

i've been getting called by them at least 2x a day.  i never answer it.  anyone know who this is calling?
