I'm getting ready, next month, to cancel my phone altogether.I don't call anybody and it seems like the only people that call me are calling for the last person too have had this phone number. Thanks for letting me rant.
They are a collection agency. Here is their site:www.dcicollect.com/dci_3rd_party.html

They called me at 10:20 on a Friday. I've never heard of these people before
They left a message for my niece, didn't know what it was about so called the number out of curiosity. They claimed that they had no record of the call and wanted her social security number so they could check it out. Don't think so!!!!!
Someone by the name of Kenneth Ben...left me a voicemail message on Wed.Apr. 16th, 2008 around 2 pm and on the message he said (my name) this Kenneth Ben and I am calling from DCI and I need you to call me back emediatly regarding a very important matter at this number 1-800-771-5361 and my private line is 1120 and he **** up. This a** hole sounded very mean and very demanding like if I am really going to call him back. I called them b***hes and I left a message telling them not to call me back and they better not or otherwise I will chit on somebody.
Left a message on my answering ma****e: Hello. This is Mr. Edwards. I've just received in my office a very important business matter and it is extremely important that you contact me. This is not a sales call or solicitation in any way. It is an extremely important matter. Then left a phone number 1 800-771-5361 ext 1285 Mr. Edwards. Sounded strange. I called the number at 1 a.m. because I work nights and an answering ma****e came on ...*****o, you have reached DCI. Our normal business hours are blah, blah, -- if you would like a list of the the directory blah blah .... then leave a message. I ***g up. Then, later in the evening I received a call on my cell phone, did you call my number? I hadn't even touched my phone. I don't know if the two were connected or not.
They send a message - "Hello. This message is for [name of someone I have never heard of]. My name is Chelsea Bailey. I just need to touch base with you regarding a small issue in the office. It's [mumble]. However, I do have a toll-free number you can reach me at whenever you have an available moment. The number is 1-800-771-5361-x1119. I look forward to speaking with you soon and you have a great day. Thank you."
This is a collection company out of Jacksonville, FL. One client I know they collect for is T-Mobile. They are actually a legitimate company and thier website is www.dcicollect.com. Diversified Consultants,Inc. Even though they are legitimate, they are supposed to follow the rules. If you tell them not to call your place of employment then they must honor that. If they continue to call you job, file a complaint.
Yes I keep getting someone else though. He has left 3 or 4 voicemails at like 830 in the morning. He says his name is Jamie Matthews. Also if they keep calling your work when you tell them not to you can take them to court for it.
These people keep calling my cell phone, asking for someone else. I have received calls late sa****ay evenings to early sunday mornings. The kicker was at 9:45 pm on a Sunday. Who the heck does that. This had been going on for a few weeks, so i decided to call them back with the number that they have provided. A recorded message comes on telling you that this call may be recorded for quality purposes. The recording goes on to say that this is a collection agency to collect a debt. I told the women that someone from that agency keeps calling my cell phone and asking for someone else that this number does not belong to. She told me to **** on and then ***g up on me.
I received a message here at work today from this number. A man by the name of John left me a message and said it was regarding a very serious matter in their office and I needed to contact him at once at ext. 1302. Who are these people and is there anything that we can do to get them to stop calling us? They are annoying. I thought that once you advised them not to call you at work, they weren't supposed to. I am so sick of this guy.
Received a call from 1800-771-5361John Woods said it was an urgent call and very time sensitive.I checked the number out on the web...This is a scam... DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY OF THEIR CALLS.
Received call from DCI on cell phone. Advised caller not to contact me telephonically; all correspondence is to be sent through the mail. Began receiving calls at work and I advised them not to call my place of employment ever a***n and that contact is to be made through the U.S. mail. Since then, I have received another message from James Wood, DCI, 800-771-5361 at extension 1310 that it is a business matter and asked me to return the call.
I received a call from DCI about a week ago at my job. The woman asked for me by name and when I got to the phone the woman said, "Are you ****?" I asked who it was and the woman said I'm calling from DCI and it's regarding a business matter. I asked her what bsuiness is she referring to and she said, "Are you ****?" I said, Don't ever call my job a***n, and she began saying so****ing and I immediately ***g up on her. This morning I received another call from a man from DCI who left a message on my voice mail. He said, "My name is John and I'm calling from DCI regarding a business matter, please call me back at 1-800-771-5361 X 1191 so we can discuss. I'd rather not leave the information on your voice mail, we need clear up the matter that is giving you a negative rating." I already told these ****s not to call me at my job anymore before and then they call me a***n today!
