Leave a CommentThey keep calling. Haven't answered the calls. Have seen a lot of posting from other sites too about this number. It sounds like, if they do answer, which often they don't, someone from another country that is here illegally and going for iden***y theft.
stop calls
keep getting called wanting to "verify" who I was so they could send me a pre-approved credit card. Wanted my SSN. When I didn't give it to him, he got rude and pushy and kept calling me back. When I told him not to call a***n, he s****ed cussing me out. I have reported this call to Credit One bank.
Credit One Bank. I called back to be put on the do not call list.
Calling my number and not saying anything.
I got a heavily accented man asking for my husband. I told him my husband was at work. He asked when would be a better time to reach my husband. I said that if this was a telemarketing call that we weren't interested. The man replied, "This is a courtesy call from Credit One Bank". He said it was in regard to so****ing they'd sent us in the mail. I told him we don't use Credit One Bank. He paused for a few seconds, then said, "Ok, fine. Thank you," and ***g up.He sounded really pushy and rude. If they call me a***n, I am blocking the number.
I spoke with the person at this number. They claim to be from Credit One Bank. They know a lot of personal info about me from the Credit Bureau and want to give me a credit card (so they claim)however, they didn't have my birth info. I haven't applied for a credit card. It's very unsafe to give our personal info over the phone. He kept insisting, which made me wonder, so I kept asking him questions to see how far he would go. It sounds like they are telemarketing to bring new customers over to CreditOne Bank, if that is legit. There is no info on web - which sounds like a scam. If there is a CreditOne Bank, they should be notified of what's happening - because they are also partly responsible for this. All research shows that they are not removing people from "Do Not Call" list which is a violation of Fed Law. Doesn't apply to Internation Law though. This is how they are able to get away with it.

They call 5 times a day. I've stopped answering. They are harassing.
When they call (about three times a day) I answer and it is always a person with a heavy accent. There have been times when I have asked them not to call back, and they have called AS SOON AS I **** UP THE PHONE!
