This number called and left a message saying that they were the American City Business Journal replying to my request for advertising information that I placed on The Denver Business Journal website.  I verified and they were who they said they were.

same call ...."our website if we accept amex and Discover and at waht time we close" beware.

it seems that you all probably own a business like i do that is why i received a call from this number too, and they didnt leave a message. when people get pre-paid cell phones their number shows up on your caller id as a 1-800 number. I figured that this is probably a person scamming with stolen amex & discover cards trying to buy products from you to resell for money. Don't fall for it.

They call me and ask the same question abouve , our website if we accept amex and Discover and at waht time we close. ******ly i answer questions . But it did not sound right.

call came in asking if we were a pc epair shop  and if we take AMEX and Discover. That his brother needed to know.

one thing that works for call systems like this typically is just pick up the phone...once their call system recognizes you picked up your number SHOULD be taken off the dial list.  One thing I do is pick up the phone, set it down on a table, then continue what I was doing ignoring the phone all together.

got a call from them today and they s****ed leaving a message which sounded like they were from Aspect software.  I called the number back, immediately went to voicemail saying "we're sorry, all agents are busy".  Clearly not a legit company if they dont put their company name on vmail.

I have received calls from this number on and off over the past several months.  Caller never leaves a message.  I picked-up once and I honestly forget what they asked for, but I do remember ****ing up quickly.

A few weeks ago, I got a call from that #.  It was a guy saying he was with American Express and had to verify my business information (legal name, address, etc.).  He knew my d.b.a. name, but it's not the legal name that AMEX would have on file.  I didn't answer any questions and asked if I could call him back.  He said there was no in-bound number he could give me, but that he would call back.  He called a***n today an when I told him I'm not comfortable giving the info over the phone, he said he completely understood, and that I should call AMEX to confirm they have the correct info.  He didn't provide a number for me to call, and ended the call pretty quickly although politely.

Just received a call from this number...asking to purchase contemporary artwork for a brother...then asked if I accepted Amex....would come by later to get painting..

they call me everyday and even sometime in the early morning such as 3 am. really getting fed up

Calls twice a day, They haven't left any messages.
