Called claiming to be A1 Delivery Servicegave a phony tracking # claimed I had a package from JC Penny'sStrange becuase I have never ordered anything from JC Penny's and the number on the caller ID was different then the # he gave.Avoid!!

she said she could find me part time work since comp usa is no longer in hawaii. asked to verify my addresses and she knew my last four of my social. says a delivery should be coming on monday

I just received a call from them claiming that they had a package for me. They also stated that they attempted to delivery the package earlier in the day but were unable because my wife said I was home. ...But I dont have a WIFE and I was home all DAY....defiantly a scam!!! BEWARE!!

I was at work helping a client when my cell rang 3 times in a row. Then a 4th time. The first 3 were from this 800 number then the last from my girlfriend. I called my girlfriend back and she said that a guy from "nationwide courier" called her cell stating that he had a check for $227 from the state dept and needed my signature and my new address to deliver it.luckily this alerted her and she didn't give any info.  I then checked my voicemail and had a message stating they have a package waiting to go out to me. I was givin a reference number in the message. What's weird is that they called my girlfriends cell phone which is in her name and we have not been together that long. I have not used her number as any type of contact for myself. From what I'm reading they are named ITS out of Vancouver Ca***a and they are doing so****ing shady. How the***** could they get my gf's phone number and has anyone had anything come of these phone calls? Has anyone showed up at your door. It seems as though everyone is posting about how they got the same call but there's absolutely no info from then on. There has to be someone out there with the resources to check into this and get us some answers.

This number keeps calling me

I got a call from this 800 # on Monday, September 1, 2009 claiming they are from Manpower and offering part time work. This is a scam and they are sear****g for information. This is complete fraud and do not give them anything. Can anyone find out who owns this 800 # so that its turned over to the police or the FCC or a state AG? Thanks, Mark

Someone called and asked if I was still looking for work. They said they were from Manpower. I never applied to Manpower, nor would I ever give out my cell phone number, which is what they called.

I received a call at home from this number on 6/3/09 at around 5:30 PM. The person had an accent and claimed he worked for a courier service and that I had a package they were trying to deliver from JC Penney. He had my home number, home address, birthdate, and previous employer information. He kept asking for my cell phone number, current employer, and when I would be at home. The following day, June 4, 2009, my employer received a call from this number asking if I worked here. The caller stated that he was processing a loan verification and had my full social security number.

1800-801-2279 called my house to say that I had a deleivery coming to my house and they wanted to set up an apt that was a good time to reach me. I told them the next day between 10:00am-11:00am. They never showed up

1800-801-2279 call me and say that I had flowers being delivered and asked me if I was at home,he verified my address which he was right, really has creep me out.  Never received flowers, tried to call the number back and says mailbox is full.

Guy called my wife's cell from this number. Asked for me and said that this number was listed on my resume. A)Seeing as I don't have any resumes out there it is ****, and B) She just got the cell phone a month ago so ***ody has the number! These people are trying to get info. He wanted another number to reach me at but my son didn't give it to him. Beware!

800-801-2279 called my wife's cell. My son answered.The guy on the phone said her cell # was listed on my resume. I have no resumes out there and the cell is only a month old so I know that is 100% false! He wanted my son to give him another number to reach me at. Thankfully he did not. I have a feeling this is a scam. When I tried calling the number back I get a message that says mailbox is full.

I keep getting calls from this number saying thay are a national job placement and have a job for me. One time i talked with the person and question them on how they got my information considering I haven't applied for a job any where in the last past 5 years. I teach internet and phone safety and they almost convienced me I did. lol TOne time I said they had the wrong number. The calls stopped for about a week then s****ed back. So I answered a***n and said I wasn't there, she then gave me this number 1-866-493-3131 ext 02 and speak to Alexandera Gomez, when I call I am told I have reached the Employment recruiting Center. Did a dial by name directory punched in her last name didn't get a name the phone just rang. I then called back and punched in random 3 digits combination and still got a ring. Anyway never got a person just to leave a message and someone will get back with me. Who are these people??? I do tend to believe they are working for a collection agency. This is on my cellphone number which is used for personal and business,

This phone number gave my house a call, and later my cell-phone, which was recently c****ed. They said they had a package scheduled to be delivered on Monday at 11:30 AM, at my home. They later asked if I'd be home, I told them no, they asked where I worked, and what School I went to. They said they had a package to be sent from The United States Department of Education, a "customer appreciation package" from the Department of Education? They even gave me the proper address of the Department, only spelled Blacker St. rather than Bleeker St. in Utica, NY. I am terrified as the caller told me that the package was an electronic device, and a few of my friends brought up the possibility of it being a ****. I feel very threatened and disgusted in whomever this is.

I just received a call from this number! They claimed to be a National Courier Delivery Service with a package for me (they knew my name and my work phone number). They claimed the package was being sent from "Avon" to be delivered to a bogus address in Washington and they wanted to verify my correct address (but I live in a completely different state). They tried to get my address to ship it to me, but I said it sounded fishy and thought my iden***y may have been stolen. I told them to return this "package" to sender as "refused" and I promptly went to check my credit report for fraud. Be careful not to offer up any personal information! The caller was very nice, trying to be helpful, but it's a scam!

Have called me several times a day the last few days, even called my private home number, and my siblings' cell numbers. Man on the phone keeps trying to say he has a refund check for me, from the bank I have my car loan through. But I verified with the bank that this is false! I believe this is an illegal debt collection attempt!

1-866-737-5029  these people keep calling me; that i have somthing coming in the mail and that i should give them my address and then they give me false tracking number to a package that i would receive by mail, i call   the store were the package was coming from they said that tracking number was false .  in the beginning the caller wanted my master card numbers .

Caller said they were from United Job Placement and had a job referral for me. They called my husbands cell phone number and told him this and could they get my number. When I spoke with Ruby she was not very clear just wanted to know how many miles I was willing to travel to and from work and that someone had referred me for job placement. I am going through Vocational Rehabilitation so I found the call quite unnerving to say the least. She had my birth date and my address. My call was from a phone number in Belgrade, Montana the call to my husband was from 800-801-2279.
