Bull**** callers! They call every other day asking for people I don't even know. Phone #s on Do Not Call List as well. They act like I'm lying when I tell them they have the wrong damn number!?

they sure had a lot of information about my personal life to be a fake medical collection agency. lss: ins didn't pay a lab charge and lab sent it to collection. we called lab to make payment and they verified using a collection agency...so maybe not fake? it did seem shady. I'm glad we paid the plan directly all these spam comments concerned me.

Call multiple times during the day from 7am till around 10pm. Think they are a collection agency for medical bills. Answered once. The women had a thick accent and spoke so quickly that it was hard to tell what agency initials she was using. She refused to give the actual company name. All around suspicious.

This claims to be a collection agency, although when they asked for the person, and I asked what it was about, they proceeded to tell me this was a call about a medical collections bill---TOTALLY broke the Fair Debt Collecton Practices Act---third party disclosure---------this was on june 13th, 2012---do not deal with these people------

Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau - they seem to have been sued quite a bit for violating the FDCPA...******bags.

Called wanting $400 for blood work my insurance did not pay for. I told him I would call the doc. And to call me back. Well there was no $400 bill. Also he has not called back for my credit card number

This number has called endlessly for the past two weeks. I don't recognize the number. The cell number I have is a re-circulated number. Meaning, it was once new for a Cricket custome possibly years ago and because the former user chose NOT to discontinue business with the 800 number, I have to switch to a prepaid cell phone. Smh.

Telemarketer showed up on my phone. I have been on the Do Not Call list for over a year.

They called my # even though I don't owe anything and after rwading all these reports of a SCAM, it makes me even angrier and more frustrated.

i've informed them several times that they reach the wrong person.

This number calls my cell phone several times a week. Instantly terminates if I answer. If I don't answer, they don't leave a message. They call all hours!

This company called on a Sunday and left a message, when I returned the call there was a message stating they were closed... less than an hour later. Later in the week I remembered to call back and when I did was told they were collecting a debt from my Dr. here in Austin that I had surgical procedure by about 9 months ago. They claimed they had sent me a collection notice.... No they didn't. Then when I explained that debt was paid in full a month prior to the surgery they insisted I send proof of that payment and offered a fax number. I was quite upset about the whole situation and called my Dr's office the next morning, the office manager was confused by the whole thing since their office only takes payment in full and assured me my account was fine. I'm very vigilant about paying bills on time but I could also see how someone could get scammed by this if they tend to slip every so often... I mean, it was only $118 and surgical procedures can generate bills from several places. I'm calling the BBB next!

This is what I posted on another site on October 27, 2010. The update is from today. I just got off the phone with AMCA - American Medical Collection Agency. (This is their website: www.amcaonline­.com , and phone number 1-800-666-8097 ­. I got tired of the 2-3 calls every day, and took matters into my own hands! They claimed that my husband owed over $300 to Quest Diagnostics - we have insurance that paid 100% and we owe nothing. They were claiming that they had sent several notices to our house. They had an address that we had over 4 years ago, but they claimed this debt was from April, 2010! There is no way they would have had our current home phone number and not our current address. (My husband never gives this phone number anyway, he uses his cell number.) They asked for our address so they could send us the notice. I gave it to them, then they said the system didn't take it and asked for it again. I gave it again, then she told me to hold on. She came back to the phone and said that AMCA NO LONGER HAS OUR ACCOUNT! She said we would not be called again. We'll see. Novemb­er 12, 2010 UPDATE: Got a bill in the mail from AMCA. I called them and tried to tell about these phone calls, and that I had already been told by their office that they did not have this account - Dorena cut me off in mid-sentence. She was very condescending and rude throughout the conversation. I did raise my voice at her provocation, but I did not curse and tried to get her to listen. She finally allowed me to tell her my story of the recurrent phone calls, but refused to comment on it - acted as though I said nothing. She also stated repeatedly that I was rude to HER! She didn't believe that I was told not to worry about this because I didn't have the name of the person at AMCA that I spoke to! Have been calling every other day. I picked up one day and they told me I owed $250 to Quest Diagnostics. When I told them I had no bill from Quest, they asked if I still lived at an address I haven't lived at for several years. They never leave a message. It's a scam.

They've called my house during early weekend mornings and during the week. They will not leave a message for the person they need to contact. They called on Labor Day and when we tried to call back, they said they are closed for the holidays but will be back open on Tuesday. Tried to call on Tues. Sept 7, and they said they were still closed for the holidays. This call has been ongoing for the past 6 months. I don't know what the heck is going on but I want it to stop! Where is the FCC when you need them? You can pull this number up on the web and it has numerous complaints. Not to mention complaints about them made to the FCC. Are they going to do something about them or not?
