Leave a CommentThis number called and left a message for a relative of mine to call him back regarding "fireside" My number is unlisted and the person they are trying to reach through me is no one I have contact with. How can they have my number?
This number called and asked for my address and nothing more, and when I asked who this was, they said it was none of your concern and ***g up. Google search comes back with a Bank of America in Seattle, and a Fireside Bank in california.
800-678-1682 calls * ****s up as soon as I answer the phone.
Has anyone out there found a solution to stop these idiots from making these unsolicited phone calls on our cell phones?
Fireside is by far the worst for harassment, and after looking up lawsuits a***nst them, theres numerous ones for harrassment and for overcharging people. They can keep calling, and only hope I pick up one day since we no longer even have a contract with them. They are rude, and threaten people.
When they call,I just answer and **** up immediately. That way they can't waste my minutes on their ****** voice mails.
I finally got fed up with them calling and was rude to them. I told them they had the wrong number and I didn't know the person they were calling for. They stopped calling for about a month and now the calls s****ed a***n. I have no idea how they got my cell phone number. I am thinking of adding up all of the times they called and send them a bill for my cell minutes.
I'm in the same boat as Susanne. I'm out of work and my last payment was due on Feb.2 2009 and today is the 19th . To make a long story short, today I deleted all the calls from them for feb. and it was 52 calls. Some of them were 4 minutes apart. Keep in mind I told them I would pay before the end of the month. 52 F@*%ing calls!!!!!!!
Same as Sam! Not even a week late and they are ****ing up my phone.
i don't have anything that NEEDS to be paid.. no bank account.. no car.i don't send out my number to random people either so i don't know how they got my number..but it's annoying i answer and say please do not call this number anymore you have the wrong nuumber and **** up, and then they call back 5 seconds later.
They are pretty obnoxious with calls. Missed a payment by 1 day and they won't stop.
Fireside bank is one of the ins***utions I'm wat****g to go under in the current state. Reasons why. These people are unjustly rude as***** and incompetent. 1. I have now been waiting 6 months for a statement. 6 MONTHS!!2. Most of the phone contacts there are idiots. They can't read or understand anything not on script and when having to deal with such can't figure out what to do. So they do nothing. 3. They're intentionally trying to ***** you over. IF you have the ability to transfer your loan do. They have repeatedly been the cause of late payments. THE COMPANY ITSELF.4.I now get paid once a month. I have asked and faxed in 17 times in 3 months the request to get my date c****ed. They have lost it everytime, so they claim. 5. They seem to hire an extensive array or pathological liars. They claim I've never returned a call. However I have a phone recording where I've waited on hold over 2 hours with no response. If you want a copy of it post a request for it.
Yeah Fireside has been a giant pain in the a** from time to time. Even when your payments are made on time you still get calls from them telling you that your payment is late and then you have to go through all your s**t to prove that u already made ur payment on time. F'N RIDICULOUS
They call us all the time as well even when our payments are up to date or earlier then it should be. Is there not such a law anymore called Phone Harrasment. I'm going to look into it.
I have to say to the paymentmaker that even if you don't make your payment, harrasment is illegal. 3-4 times a day is rediculous. I have had the same problem with these people. My husband is out of work and we got a payment behind. There is no need for them to call that much when I have already explained the situation and told them when they would get thier money. I also told them they could come and get the car if that was not acceptable. They still just call and call and call. I submitted a complaint to the FTC, but that does no good!
Yep, that's Fireside Bank, apparently staffed with *****s who can not understand how calling the same number over and over a***n looking for someone who doesn't live here will NEVER work. For a period of time I got constant telephone calls from them looking for some illegal Mexican or so****ing, someone who gave them a random telephone number, probably, which wound up being mine. It took the ****** f***s a long time to get it through their ***** heads that dialing the same number over and over results in rea****g the same wrong person. It's annoying when credit card companies engage in such harassment, but when legitimate banks fall in to the behavior, it's probably even more so.
To get them to stop calling just make your payments,Duh!!
This company is very annoying! At times calls sometimes 8 times a day! Thay also call past 9pm and at 7am! How can i block them from calling me!
I DO finance my car through Fireside and they've been ok to work with... however, I receive random calls from them every so often (like just now), when there should be no reason for a call. I'm up-to-date with payments, insured, etc...
this number keeps calling me and telling me i need to call back ASAP. i call and it goes to the ext. voicmail. her name is Vanessa and ext is 43165, the number comes up on my cell as a 925 area code, how can i get this number to stop, how did they get my number??
I ignore any and all calls that don't show up in my personal directory. These clowns showed up as 800-825-1862 so I ignor.
i agree with KD from 30Dec2007. i just got a call ....at work. said i needed to call ASAP and i did. then nothing...no answers. i attempted to call about 5 or 6 times to the extension that was left.... ext 57483. then the guy who ever he is (william or liam or so****ing) answers.then he asks me for my name and i told him my first name. then he wanted my last name. i told him he would not get that until he told me what this was all about. then he ****s up. then i call back several more times...now the operator who answers when you press '0' is rude. this has definitely got to be some sort of scamming thing. i have gotten calls from a carpet cleaning place a few months ago on my cell... not sure how they get the numbers and all..but there are crooks out there trying to get private info. just be careful.
They've called at least 3 times a day even weekends and holidays asking for another person and the couple of times I've answered and said I wasn't that person - the calls keep coming. At least 3 different people have left voice mails over a month period; now they just call and **** up when I don't answer. My loan is NOT though a dealership - but through a credit union, that would not sell any contract!
That's Fireside bank. Do you happen to be making car payments? I searched it for ya, and here is a quote directly from Fireside Banks main page:Fireside Bank, is a California based FDIC insured financial ins***ution with offices located throughout the western United States. By purchasing retail installment contracts from dealerships, Fireside helps customers with marginal credit purchase automobiles and light trucks. That's how they got your number, you took our a car loan, and even if they aren't who you originally went thru, they stated themselves that they "purchasing retail installment contracts from dealerships" so they could have bought your car payment contract. Weird, I know, but now you have your answer.
they can and if you don't answer they call right back
