Ok here is the score. These guys (Midland Credit Mgmt.) are one of the bigger debt collection agencies out there. However since they buy debt accounts wholesale, there is no money in it for them to **** out the mistakes, old, or statue expired ones. So when they hand them out to their flunkies to go after the accounts, being one of the bigger ones ends. They use the same old ****ods or harass and do anything it takes to collects 10 to 30 cents on the dollar. After all the bonus structure in these types of jobs, is set to reward collections - not for being nice. So they're big and know how to get around all the federal laws, and you are just you. Not really - if you record/do***ent and report their tactics to your state authorities, they can get into a lot of trouble monetarily (where it counts). So forget the Feds, and go to you state authorities.

called tying to collect a debt that was included in a bankruptcy in 2005. They have called 6-7 times per day s****ing at 7am and not ending until 11pm. Always comes up as Unknown name+Unknown number. The person that called would not identify themselves at all and wanted me to fax him information that is confidential, and information that they should already have if this is a legal debt. I reported them to the FTC this morning!!

This company is Midland Credit and of course are full of it. They come in as 'No Caller ID' They are not specific on any details, but are calling several tims a day on my cell phone. Very irratating.

CID shows "Unknown Name, Unknown Number" Answered and rep was looking from someone else. Pretended I would take a message and got the company name and number. They won't stop calling, but I least now I know who "Unknown Name, Unknown Number" is. Phone company put a TRAP on my phone. Next stop, the police.

Yes****ay I called my phone company.  I now have a TRAP (not a tracer) on my phone line.  FREE to me, but it's going to cost them plenty.  Once I have my log of the phone calls, I turn that into the police.  After that, they suponeona for the phone records, then someone gets arrested!Yes - they are still calling.Keep it up Midland!  One of you is going to prison.

My son receiv a letter from MCM(Midland Funding LLC) supposely It's a dept collection company,and they try to give you a 40% discount on the amaunt that supposely It's owed,they also give you a due date,theire adress is Midland Credit Management,Inc.Department 8870 Los Angeles,Ca 90084-8870 they have also called but since It's a (1800) number I always think It's nothing good specialy If they don't leave a message......................."Best of luck"
