JC Whitney, pizza hut, FTD flowers, tiger direct, ticketmaster are part of this scam. The way the scam works is the company you buy from sells your card info and personal info to the scammer - Complete savings. They then charge your credit card for $12 a month. Some cardholders do not catch the theft right away and another $12 bite will show up on their card monthly. No communication comes to you from Complete savings, only the CC debit, hoping you don't catch it.
Ditto to all those remaks above - I've used my credit card online with J.C. Whitney, therefor they must be part of ther consopi****. I called that 800 number and got an answering ma****e menu - couldn't get anywhere on it cause I needed my membership no. which I never got nor ever asked for. - Big Scam !
I found a $12.00 charge on my most recent credit card statement. I called the number and was told that I had authorized the charge when I agreed to receive some discount coupons at the end of a transaction with J.C. Whitney. The charge was compensation for the "requested" discount coupons. My minor son had made the J.C. Whitney purchase so I am unsure what agreement he may have made, but I was promised a refund of the $24.00 in charges incurred over 2 months. I am still unaware of any discount coupons I was supposed to have received. I also understand that this was not a one time charge, but would continue to appear on my credit card statement until I discovered it. RIDICULOUS!
Yes I just filed a dispute with my bank about this. I have got charged 3x the same time each month a $12.00 fee that says VISA-complete saveings. I have not signed up for any thing on line. I have like the others ordered through pizza hut online. I did not authrize any one to take a monthly fee. when i googled the name it came up with FAQ page that said Quote if you are woundering why you are being caharged a $12.00 fee each month it is because you or SOMEONE signed you up.THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!My card was cancelled and i have been refunded. I hope these scammers rot in prison!!
It's a scam. If a victim contact your financial insitution affected and then contact your state's attorney general office!
i ordered pizza hut like many of these people and i got that same $12 charge! i did not even enter my email or anything. i didnt think anything of it till today when i put the phone number in the google search. and now i know not to order online anymore nor to use my CC online. is pay pal even safe now?
i did not receive a phone call, but they charged my account twice, once from 800-889-8776 and a***n from 800-826-1885, how did they get my information?, i tried calling the 8776 number and it tells me i can't dial that number from my location. i did however, email the customer contact and they responded within minutes, also letting me know that there was a second membership. and that they would take care of that one also. so we'll see if the credit gets back into my account
from information i've gathered and actions i've proformed here are some hints on what to do from noted i took down on a notepad from many complaints about complete savings.-file a fraudulent affidavit through your credit lender or card holder-contacting better business bureau-contact Attorney General's Office in your state
Previously ordered pizza online with my debit card. Daughter placed an order and paid cash (didn't have my card info). My card was charged by Complete Savings from the daughter's order. I checked and do not have a care number****ociated with this account. So Pizza Hut is not only providing them with card numbers but somehow retaining card info from previous orders! Disputed with my bank and the next day received an email they would cancel and refund. Found this site by googling telephone on email.

Ditto to the ones above! Only for me it was TWO $12 charges for some club that I never subscribed to! The second phone # that charged me(1-800-889-8776) is somehow****ociated with the first, so watch yourselves! I called the initial #, a woman who was very pleasant agreed to refund my CC account with the $24. She said it would be taken care of in the next 3-5 days, and that I'd receive a confirmation # by internet. We'll see! (PS I have no idea how I got caught in this scheme. I rarely use my CC for anything except internet transactions! I wonder now how secure these really are, and if my personal info is being sold!)
I found a $12.00 charge on my credit card. On caling to dispute the charge I was told that I had joined some savings club when I ordered a pizza on line through Pizza Hut. When first calling, I got a recording asking me to input my credit card # so that they would pull up my account. I punched in one # only, as I was not about to give them my credit card #, and I was still connected with a representative who pulled up the account they had issued me using my name and zip code only. I immediately had them cancell any membership they had set up for me as I had never joined their club in the first place. The company responsible for this scam is called Complete Savings.
