I received a txt message from this number.
I got the same text message and checked out the actual credit unions website and their 800 number is different so its a scam!!!
Text message "ALERT: Your Goldenwest Credit Union has been BLOCKED as result of a fraud attempt. Contact is immediately at ****270843." Phishing scam.
received txt message stating that my bank account had been closed due to fraud. don't have an account with that bank.
This came via text message: "ALERT: Your Goldenwest Credit Union has been BLOCKED as result of a fraud attempt. Contact is immediately at ****270843." I have never had an account with this credit union.
I actually received a text message warning me a bank account I have never had had been blocked b/c of fraudulent activity! Fraudulent I'd say! They told me in the text to call them back at the number listed. Yea - no thanks I would rather not be ripped off today.
I had the same kind of su****ious behavior. I received the text message and ***ody picked up.
