Leave a CommentIt is a call centre and TD is one of their clients. Gemma Communications I believe. Any bank, you can have your profile set to receive No Solicitation, so when they contract out to a call centre to make cold calls, your name and PH# won't be included. Let your bank ***nch know you want that set on your customer profile.
Won't stop calling. What the ****
They call me every f******g day.... And when i picked it up they f***** g **** up.... Make it stop please...
I already tell them to stop calling me but they didn't stop yet.
Never a message left! I don't care if they are my bank! Go away! Don't bother me!
Didn't bother to answer! Never do with 800, 866, 877, 888 numbers!
Calls everyday atleast 10 times a day.. I answered once and told them to not call a***n and they wont stop
calls everyday, sometimes even two or three times a day
Got called on my cell phone twice in one night. Very annoying
Thank you for calling virtually every day several times.I miss you too.
Ok enough now!@#$%^&*@! I am so fed up with telemarketing. I don't answer anymore when I see an 800 number. If it is important they will leave a message, otherwise leave me alone!!!!!!!!
Calls coming 2-3 times a day and always some between 5 and 8 PM. Leave no message on answering ma****e.
I ask what the product was and TD Insurance. Called TD Bank to complain, maybe with enough calls they may stop
Calls and ****s up when answered.
Keep leaving message on my ma****e over the last couple of months already. If I can confirm this is from TD, I will end all my account and dealings with them.
if you send them an email it should stop it look at this message i found on another site similar to this one.. Hope it helps you i also sent email as well!**************************************************************************January 2009As per suggestion from another poster -- I sent this email yes****ay to [email protected]: 1-800-831-9690I am getting repeated calls from this number which I understand is yours. The phone rings, I pick it up and then after no answer it ****s up on me.Take me off your list permanently. My number is *******-**x.---------------------------------------------Here's the response I got back via email today:----------------------------------------------Please be advised that your number has been removed from all of our dialing lists. It has also been added to our internal Do Not Call list where it will remain for a period of 3 years.Thank you,Hera OhannessianManager of Quality****uranceGemma Communications LP_________________________________________________________________________Thanks to the first of you that gave that as a solution and to the second for confirming that it works! So, what have we learned today kids? 3-4 calls a day from this number. how do i get them to stop????
They called me *7* times today! Never leaving a message or automatically ****ing up 2 seconds after I answer the phone. This has been going on for about 3 weeks now, I'm absolutely fed up. I shouldn't need to screen my calls. I will call them if I want so****ing - I don't want to be harassed! I've called the number back and left a message to be taken off of the call list. Lets see if anything happens.
I've been getting calls twice a day for a few weeks now and it's getting annoying and ridiculous. So sick of it! No one ever responds on the other end, and if you ignore the call, there's not even a voicemail.
Wow!! Looks like I am not the only annoyed customer here!!The reason why ***ody talks when you pick up the phone is because our numbers are dialed automatically by a ma****e and if the call is answered, after a few seconds you will probably hear the telemarketer's voice (that is actually when you are connected with a telemarketer!!)... if you don't answer the call, it will **** up after 3 - 4 times ringing... this is also why there is never a voice message....You can save this number as a new contact with names like:"TD Insurance", "Don't Pick Up" or "TD Telemarketers" and this way you will always know whenever they call you from that number....
Stated they were calling from Rogers Wireless offering a promotion. I asked if they were with Bell and they stated no Zoom Communications Toronto
My number is in Do Not Call list. Still, they call me three times a day.
These people who are calling from this number have nothing to do with TD Ca***a Trust bank they are using it to get people to call. There not even saying TD Ca***a trust. Just Ca***a Trust, So for all of you thinking it's TD bank it's not. Since the Ca***a Trust/TD bank merger these people have been using the name Ca***a Trust because technically TD is now Toronto Dominion Ca***a Trust.
Hey guys, sorry you all are having the same issue as I am.They called me at 10:54 at night. What the*****. I work mornings and now im wide awake and cant fall back to sleep.I have called the number back and made a request to be taken off the list but i think i'll continue do***enting every time they call so i have a paper trail to take to the bank to reem someone out with.If they continue to harass me after leaving a message 3 times i will find a way to press charges. this is harassment if you have told them to stop bothering you.My little rant took out all my pent up energy so im going to try to go to sleep...A***N.
they did call me over 10 times within a month, and even twice in a day sometimes. there was ***ody there on the phone when I answered it once a time, that made me feel confused at first. after I read the wording from other people, I know I should not be worried any more. just ignore it when it rings up a***n.
Dear friends,I am getting calls from this numbers many time in a day. But these all are my fault. Because during an new account openning session in my TD ***nch, they have asked me somany questions including (Adding me to their new product opinion) i was thinking that time they may call once in a month or less. But now i am receiving calls from these numbers five times in a day.Luckily they are calling from the same number. So i have saved in to my Cell phone this number under (TD WASTE).So now atleast i can aviod this call when i see the display "TD WASTE".Also i plan to go the same TD ***nch where they have included me in this trouble, and going to ask them to remove me from their list.I will update you guys soon.RegardsBala
he did not say any thing. just ended the call.
Yes, they call me too... almost every day & evening; these people are very aggressive on tele-marketing. They are crazy!
This number has called 3 times tonight, one after the other. I don't even bother answering 1800 numbers, but multiple calls, this is just insane!
These calls just s****ed, and they've been calling over and over a***n (one call after another) Three already in the last 5 minutes. I don't even bother picking up 1-800 numbers, but it's enough to drive you crazy!
I also have been getting these calls... I also have called back and numerous times have asked to take my name and number of the list... guess what? THEY JUST CALLED!!!! (I ***g up) Im so frustrated I want these calls to stop! and you know what else grinds my gears the fact that WE have to call them back and ASK THEM to to stop calling!
Called me while at work, on my cell, ***g up on them. They call me quite frequently.
This number has called at least 10 times in 24 hours at all hours as late at 9 PM. If it is this important please leave a message and someone will call back at a better time for them.
This number is driving me nuts, calling at all times of the day, I won't pick up anymore. I refuse to deal with them, they won't stop!
calling frequently for past few weeks or more... I did call it back once and found out that it was TD. I'm s****ing to get ****ed off to the point that I may call their head office to read them the riot act.
Do what Tammy said. call the number and ask not to receive the calls.
The person calling me from this number calls 3 to 5 times per day every day at least once a month. I don't bother answering, but they're persist ant toads!
These people call me up to FIVE times a day, EVERY DAY!!! They call in the morning, they call all day long ... the latest they have called is 10 PM! I never answer but finally I got so sick of it I googled the number and found out it was TD. I have never banked with TD in my life, and I have been registered on the National Do Not Call List for 3 months! So why do I keep getting these calls!! Finally this morning I broke down and called the number and told them to NEVER EVER call me a***n. But after reading everyone else's comments I'm not too hopeful. I plan to file a complaint with the CRTC Do Not Call Registry and let them investigate. This should be considered a criminal offense, in my opinion.
I have the same problem, i get at least one call a day, always in the afternoon.
I just called the 1-800-831-9690 number and was given the option to leave my name and number that they keep calling me at(my home) and they will remove me from any and all lists regarding their products. We will see if it happens, but at least I have officially requested to be removed from their list, and have do***ented the date and time.
They're nuts. They call my cell every few days or so. I answered once, told them I wasn't interested in TD's insurance products, yet they keep persisting. The last call I got, some woman laughed and ***g up. It's rediculous. Does TD want to lose customers? If they keep persisting with their BS telemarketing tactics, then thats exactly what will happen.
I get called by this number more than 3 times a day and its ****ing me off!
Called a few times in the past few days, I have missed the call. Leave no message. When I call back, the call cannot be completed
Won't leave a message...I get too many soliciting to answer 800 866 etc.
They called just the other night as well. I don't and never had an account with TD, so why they are calling me I don't know. I registered my number under the Do Not Call List so hopfully that will help.
this number called me 5 times since this morning, I am so sick of it. I got couple calls from this number last week. But things are getting worse, they called me 5 time already today.I bank with TD only. That is annousing!
same thing. i never answered the phone, but when its 1-800 its probably telemarketing. but it keep calling every now and then, and i hate it when it does not leave a message. i hope this call stops. its been a week or so.
Call their Ombudsman 1-888-361-0319, blast him and tell him to make certain your number is taken off the TD calling list PERMANENTLY.
it has been 2wks since the first time i received this call. recently they called me more than 7 time a day, day&nite. I picked up the phone, ***ody talked, and ****ed up on me after 5secs, and I called back, it said it is TD,wanna sell me some stuff. I just called TD, and told them to stop calling me ...
dont keep calling or speak sth, wat a loser
i want them to f***ing stop.
I have also been getting calls every evening at the same time for 2 weeks. Then it stops for a week or two and s****s a***n during the day; I have the same message left on my answering ma****e regarding my credit card. I don't even have a credit card!
Many calls from this number. I called back and left my name and number to be deleted from their call database, as the voice prompts instructed. I did this THREE TIMES and still they kept calling. By law, when you request your name and number be deleted from a telemarketing database, the company cannot call you for THREE YEARS. This is according to Ca***ian Marketing****ociation standards. Well, after leaving my info 3 times, I got a call the very next day. I answered the phone and someone was on the line. I blasted them and told them I had left messages on their voicemail to delete me from their database and their company was in violation of the law etc. So this very intelligent young woman asks me if I want my name and number taken out of their database. I asked her how many times I had to request this very thing. Then I told them to NEVER call me back, to which she replied, this was the first time SHE had called. Are these people idiots? It's not them, it's their company!! Then I had to repeat myself at which point she ***g up. I called my TD ***nch even before this call, and was****ured my profile was a NO for solicitation as I have an unlisted phone number. I bank with TD, but this is making me think about pulling out. Actually, if they have the nerve to call me a***n and someone is on the line, I'm going to put them on hold until they **** up. I have been doing massive internet searches for the name of the company that is doing the calling but am having no success, as I want to report them to the Ca***ian Marketing****oc. If anyone has had any luck finding the name of these telemarketers, please post it.
these guys are real ****s they phone every half hour i ignore them but its bu***hit you think some is phoning if your outside you run for the phone its awful what can we do
More than likely the phone calls you're receiving are for promotional offers, all you have to do is contact your nearest ***nch or call easy line and tell them that you do not want to be solicited for any offers you have on your account. Once that's done you should no longer receive any more phone calls from the above number
I got a new cell phone , apparently the number had been used before , they keep calling myself , and asking for someone I do not even know, up to 5 times a day .
I have just s****ed getting these calls. I haven't picked up on them yet, however reading the last report I am thinking of calling up TD and telling them to stop calling. I have an account there So that could be why they are calling as well. This is not unusual as I just moved into a new house about 6 months ago and ever since we've moved in we're been getting weird calls from people all over the place with no one on the other line.
They called me for 3 weeks straight, always at 7pm. I would answer and hear nothing at all, but it wasnt 'dead air'.I stopped answering for 2 weeks, eventually got sick of it and when I answered the last time, some guy was selling life insurance. I told him no thanks and then calls stopped - for 1 week! I got a call last night and one this morning (thanks for waking me up!). How do I stop this?!I am thinking of swit****g banks, since TD is all I use, a friend rants about Coast Capital, so maybe they are good...
