Spammers!scammers! They are trying to collect on 10 yr old written of debts!!!

A ****** collection agency. Keep calling me & once I call back just a answering ma****e

i just got a call from some guy who claims to work at this Patenaude & Felix law firm about an old cell phone bill i had in '03 and at first he was cool with me, but when i told him i couldn't afford what he was asking me to pay monthly he began to get irate, which was funny to me, so i laughed, and he asked where i worked and i told him i would rather not say and he asked why and I simply told him if I pay the bill on time what does it matter where I work?.. well that sent him over the edge and made me laugh even harder, I asked him why he was so angry, he didnt have to pay the bill and it wasn't his credit report? at the same time i googled statute of limitations on unpaid cell phone bills and found out that in some states its 2 yrs and in california its 4 so he cant collect anything, so i asked him what was the SOL on my account and he said OH how about 2018, how bout that... getting his ******s up in a bunch. He then told me he was gonna find out where i worked and garnish my pay check and asked me how i liked that.. lol i said well, i guess i will be hearing from you a***n then, and have a nice day and ***g up...he cant go toe to toe with me, i have google on my side... lol

Well!  If they claim themselves with the law firm "attorney" then how come they threaten people?  They should know about the law.  By law, debt collectors cannot call consumers after certain hours and they cannot call consumer's employers.  If you hear from bogus who claim to be calling from a law firm and not being professional about it then you know it's totally BOGUS!!

I think you just got scam!  Just be very careful when you talk to them and don't give them any of your personal information because they will use that for so****ing else.  Don't ffer to work out any type of settlement, if you do they will know that you are weak and then they will do and say anything to get more from you.  Please take my advise, been there done that....

***!  I did some research on these guys, I called the real creditors after they harrassed my sister and they said these are old debts that has been written off already.  You see, what they are trying to do is collect people's old bills that creditors thrown away and trying to get as much money as they can for themselves.  And if they can't get what they want, they s**** to threaten you.  But I know that some people are ****** and they end up paying these bogus...

And it's funny how people with such law education and degress can't even can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy....... The fantasy is the big law litigation...we will sue....The reality is that in these times people don't have anything.......So guess what you get for using your all powerful(I'll sue you and your resources)------NOTHING MR. LAWYER........There is your reality check.....................

me too - got two calls from "pedro" and i say F#$k them - they have called me at work and ASK for info. i am reporting them to the federal trade commission!

I actually had a pleasant experience with this company, working to pay off a legitimate credit card debt that I had....they were able to work out a compromising pay-off settlement agreement on behalf of their client, and everything worked out fine.However, I just received a call from this phone number and had to look up who the number was from.  They did not leave a message with me.  I am wondering why are they calling me now?  I paid that debt off about 6 months ago and have no other outstanding accounts.  Maybe my phone number is still mistakenly in their system?  Or maybe they are being fraudulent?  I will certainly report a***n if I get to speak with them or if they leave a message to tell you what they have to say.

I continue to get totally harassed by the most unprofessional speaking bunch of *****s ever.. this so called Law firm has so called legal professionals yelling at you, telling you that your going to get garnished your paycheck, your going to get Liens on your homes, that you should pay your bills, I called to file a complaint and when I asked for the Owner's or Firm head guys "Pattenaude or attorney Felix, I was told that" that wasn't  going to happen and I asked well will either be in this week and was told NO maybe next week, I asked who then to speak with or telephone to call, and I  was quickly interrupted with loudly" I said one second didn't I" ?  Just Rude, non professional argumentative bully tactics to try to get you to pay a debt.. I found this to be unethical for an legitimate so called Law Firm to conduct collections of a debt...  By the way I told both young men that I spoke with that I know they did not have any legal training or background they were giving an debt to collect under this Law firm name, which by the way does not give them the right to call and harass, yell, belittle, threaten, argue, demand and speak to anyone in this shape or fashion..  I was denied the opportunity to speak these two attorney's running this firm and I want to know why?  Keep in mind I was paying on this debt until they began talking to me like I had a tail ****ing between my legs, not happening I hope this place is brought down, and I to am in knots everytime they call I have to take a pill to get the inflammation out my neck and back from being in such a tensed yelling match with these *****'s...

Comments above are interesting.  People giving legal advice without a law degree is really funny and illegal and bad advice to boot.  My recommendation is that you just ask to speak with a lawyer at the office instead of the alleged s*** and get the truth.  The alternative is that you keep your head in the sand and get sued.

They ARE a legit law firm. I work for a major creditor and we employ them from time to time.I have heard stories of their collection practices and do know that they are not the most professional individuals around.If they are contacting you in regards to a debt that is not yours, more than likely they skip traced your information as belonging to the borrower. Just advise them that you are not the borrower and would like to be removed from the system. If they persist, request to speak with a manager/supervisor. If that gets you nowhere, then s**** recording the calls and file an FDCPA complaint.Hope that helps.

Received a message from this law firm to call back at 800-832-7675 because it was important. The sketchy part of the call is that they said it "this message is FROM (my ex-husband's name), this is the law office of Patenaude & Felix...". I replayed it 5 times to make sure it wasn't "for" not "from" but they said from. I am still on good terms with my ex, called him and he has no idea how they got my number or why they are calling. After reading the other comments about this firm, I am not calling them back.

They are s***.   They lie, are rude and threatening.  Really are the bottom feeders of bill collectors.

this caller says i owe them money, i don't know them or any one else at this number.

Calls continually...one or two times a day. Auto-dialed call with no name on the message.

they call my house over and over for the wrong person and they still to this day will not stop calling, i guess since reading i should file a complaint with the fair trade commission

I had a call from them as well from a man named Marcello, claiming to be from a Law Firm. The message was take by my secretary & I haven't called them back. Does anyone know what's up with this "Law Firm"?

Got a call saying it was law office to collect a debt. Told them they had the name and account wrong. When I refused to give them my phone number, address and account number they became abusive and threatenig. Told me they were going to get a marshall after me. Do Not Give Them Any Of Your Info.

The call and leave a message but they bleep out the name of the person they are looking for.

I also got a similar car from "Pedro".  ***?  Same story about law office.  I think it is a scam too.  Why would they also leave a four digit extension?  *******s.

Someone named Pedro called and said he works for a law office and was calling to collect a debt. We think it's a scam.
