S****ed asking her to gove " mothers madien name" and other odd questions so I told my mother to **** up. They called right back..... we called Capital One and they confirmed it was a scam.

Lower intrest on credit cards
They called, I didn't answer. Checked online, no info other than it's supposed to be VISA...uh huh. They want your card number but don't give definitive response when asked about legitimacy.
Visa Lost-Stolen Emergencey I missed the call, but that's what came on the caller id. A very thought out computerized menu. Never spoke to anyone and didn't want to.
Lied and initially said he was with Visa credit verification. After asking questions and not giving my data, he said his employee id# is VX3084. Their out of P***nix, AZ.
S*** bags Stop calling!!!
Unsolicited call from 800-847-2911 called 29 March 2019 2:08pm. S****ed number from Voip. Recorded robocall regarding credit card rates. 29100 searches completed for this number in Last 30 Days.
If this is a scam? Why is your comments on your web site dated from the year 2008? Why has this not been reported by anyone leaving a comment or the webmaster who designed this site? FTC, internet fraud a felony in any state attorney's office. What is your angle? Question directed to the people running this site?
The message told me I qualified for a lower interest rate but if I did not respond, my card would be canceled.
I asked the person with a heavy India Indian accent what my name was. He had no answer. We got into a heated discussion. Both of us swearing and insulting each other. A professional service would never call me a mother ***ker. If you gave info to these guys. You now have iden***y theft. Sorry.

12:19 pm received unsolicited call from somewhere in the US with no voice mail so either a wrong number or most likely a telemarketer.
12:19 pm received unsolicited call from somewhere in the US with no voice mail so either a wrong number or more likely a telemarketer. Glad I didn’t answer!
Credit card offering lower rates BS.
Caller was using very foul language called me a (MF lady) when I explained to him that he was calling a Federal agency.
I call this number back because it seemed important. It was a visa service. Seemed very professional. But I wasn’t comfortable. I called the number on the back of my card and they told me “ignore that message“. Piece of that…
Robo call from (334) 318-4120 stating that my interest rates on credit cards could be reduced to 0%. I asked for a call back #, and (800) 847-2911 was given to me.

Complete B.S. They want to "verify" your card number to "lower your interest rate". Sounded like someone in India.
Visa was on the caller ID. Robocall about lowering interest rates on a credit card. Fourth call this month. Did not give an opportunity to opt out as some other of these calls have done.
By the way, I tried to call back the number that showed on the caller ID, which said "Nextiva", but the number, which was 213-814-0685, just reached a phone company message that said the number was disconnected. I looked the number up and discovered it was for the actual phone company from Scotland called Nextiva. Definitely a scam, and I almost got caught!
They called and had part of one of my card numbers. They knew how much my balance was and my most recent payment. I tried to pin them down on their information and location (no accent at all) and the male caller said Florida. The initial discussion seemed honest enough, with them providing me with information that made it seem like they were legit. They told me how much credit I had left on the card in question. But when I asked how much the fee was and the new interest rate was going to be, the response was "no interest rate c****e", but coincidentally, the fee would be just under what I had as available credit left on the card in question. How convenient! In the meantime my wife looked up the number the new kid had given me (said he just s****ed today, so he couldn't really answer a lot of my questions) and my wife yelled from the other room "SCAMMER, **** UP, Don't tell them anything more!!!" We called our card company and had the card cancelled within 10 minutes.
I answered with a very slow "hello". They ***g up on me!

Illegal
Spam - Visa card. I' ashamed of them.

"Cardmember Services" is back in business folks. Same scam as before. Same robo-calls. I keep blocking the numbers, so they can only call me once. Don't say anything, just **** up. Pressing any number 'to stop receiving calls' simply confirms that a live person answered, and they WILL keep calling you.
I called the 800-847-2911 and got through to VISA. The woman I spoke to claimed that they had received many complaints about the calls and were working with the phone companies. BS or not your guess is as good as mine. CHECK OUT THE CALLER ID SPELLING CardSerices 800-847-2911
Bad news credit phishers How do we get rid of them????
DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO. Got a call from ****472911 lady said*****o Miss I am a senior reduction specialist and we may owe you a refund. I said no name. She said Jennifer. I said company name? She said UNITED CREDIT FOUNDATION. I told her I guarantee if I look it up it is a scam. She ***g up. I called back, got an Asian woman who asked if last 3 of phone # was 911 and I said yes. She said they don't make outgoing calls. I said that is the only way I would have the number. I asked where they were located and she kept saying, we are visa. I told her to stop and finally asked her when you go to work where is the building you walk into? She finally said Phillipines. I told her I do not deal with Indians and Asians, too many scam artists. THIS IS NOT VISA. THE NUMBER FOR VISA GLOBAL****ISTANCE IS 1-303-967-1090. THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS SCAM AND ARE WORKING WITH THE FTC AND LAW ENFORCEMENT.
Scam1
Scam/spam involving Visa cards. This is NOT the lost/stolen/fraud dept. of a real card issuer.

My caller ID also said "toll-free call." The woman told me s*** worked for the Qualification Department for Visa and MasterCard (yeah, right, she works for a department that is run by two competing companies). I kept on trying to get more information from her, but eventually she ***g up on me.
They called me at 12:08 in the morning, when I answered cursing, and saying that I was going to report them, they never said a word. I had no idea who they were but, NO 800 number should call at that time. Caller ID just said TOLL FREE CALL.
Caller ID shows "VISA 1-800-847-2911". Judging from this web page, this must be a phishing attempt to get my credit card or other info.
I got a recording about my credit being okay and to press 3 if I wanted to lower my rate. i punched 3 and didn't get anyone. I then hit the zero and got ***ody. I hit the 9 and didn't get anyone. My caller I.D. display said unknown caller. I have already reported them to the Do Not Call Registry, because I confirmed that my two credit card companies are NOT doing this calling and they do not use a recording. So this place is a hassle and has caused my elderly mother worry so I have reported them. REPORT ALL recorded calls to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. Even if you have not registered with them you can report a complaint about a call that comes in as a recording and there is no live person. I hope these people go to somewhere very hot when they pass away and then their punishment would be to receive phone calls of a recording every second of every day for the rest of eternity.
Called and I answered, not voice or automated attendent responed, or a person. Called twice. One right after the other.
My caller ID came through with this number: 800-847-2911. No one on the phone. This call after I had just used my VISA card to charge a magazine subscription. I called VISA company at the number. No charge had yet appeared on my account They will monitor my account for charges. I checked the phone number out on internet, found it was for the VISA Global Network. Called the number and it was for VISA Global Network. **** up when you see this number appear on your caller ID. It is a scam.
Just received this message - automated. Came up on my caller ID as Visa Lost-Stolen. Called it and it was Visa Global Customer Care Center. The message was they would lower my credit rate, but I won't give out my number to so****ing like this. I live in Indiana and am on a no-call list for things like this.
Visa lost scam
It is a scam, all they wanted is my card number. When I asked who was calling they ***g up on me, I tried calling back and it told me the number had been disconnected.
Keeps calling and when you answer i's either a dial tone or dead air.
I was called on 10/18/2010 at 8:19 PM call came up unavailable, I did not answer the call, no message left on my answering ma****e.
this telephone number came thru 10/7/2010 from 800-847-2911. First part of message garbled, but it was about rate reduction, etc. I am with others, what if elderly folks feel they have to answer these bogus tripe calls, I am on a no call list, but it does't mean a thing. There are more crooks than legal folks.
We keep getting phone calls from this number telling us they're from Card Member Services, and they want to lower the interest rate on our credit card. They never mention *which* credit card they want to lower.
This number called me on my new cell #. I only give my cell out to close family, schools, etc. as we are in the middle of a genuine medical situation with my young daughter, plus this same daughter has a life-threatening condition. I was waiting on 1 of 2 surgeons to call me back at the exact time they called, so I picked the call up immediately. When I heard a recording "Do you want to reduce your credit card rates...BS...BS...BS?" I wanted to scream!!! I ***g up immediately! I waited until I got home & called the # which called me to tell them (actually scream at them) to remove me from their calling list immediately!!! So, I called the # & it said it was VISA (just plain VISA). So, I dialed 0. The man was very very nice. He said that the # I was put through to was VISA's lost & stolen credit card department. He said they have many complaints. He said some fraud is using their # to place these calls & get people's CC info from them. He said they are working with the telephone companies to try to stop this. He apologized over & over for my inconvenience. He really did seem genuine. It seemed to be the truth. Bottom line...there isn't anything that can really be done. The next time they call, I'm going to ask to be removed. Although, I'm sure these *****s won't. We'll see...I'll post if they call a***n!!
this caller wants your private info. i suspect it is a scam
Iuse my computer to block out all unwanted calls. these days they only get one ring and it's over for them. I pay for my phone and do not allow it to be an open door for any of the haras*****ts coming from all over the world, they don't even get to leave a message. free program from net fixed it all for medon't put up with their invasion........block them out !!
Same number, same scam. I have not talked to them but they have left messages on my answering ma****e! I too am on no call but to no avail. I just worry about some older adults that can believe this type of thing.
Caller ID was
NONE
When I asked for the company name, he said "card services" I asked for a phone # to verify who they are, he gave 800-847-2911. Then when I asked him to stop calling and that I have told them that at least 6 times, he said that was a fake # and ***g up.
Got a prerecorded message to press 9 to lower my interest rate. A man who called himself Shawn Williams came on and proceeded to tell me about laws c****ing on 1/1/10 and that this company serves as a "third party representative" for the card holder to reduce interest rates now before the laws c****e. They wanted to know if I had credit card debt of at least $5,000 and had I made payments on time for the past 6 months. They wanted to know what banks my cards were from. I wanted to check on this, so I told him that I was on my way out. He offered to call back, but I asked for his number to call when I was ready. I then got 1****472911. I asked for the company name and he said they were Credit Card Services (hesitation) of America.
Wanted to lower my interest rates on my cards. Call came from
I'm on the do not call list!
"Heather with Account Services"
This caller wanted credit card information to lower my rate.
They keep calling and wanting to lower my % rates and just need "the highest card I owe on, am paying on time for, and that I owe more than $4000 total. Fishy.
Say they are "Account Services" and want to lower my % rates. Lady had a foreign accent and wanted to know info about my credit cards and %. I didn't giver her anything except my name and my total debt and average %. Then she got weird. The 1st time they called today, it said "name unavailable", but the call id said "212-000-9876". The connection was bad. She called back on the 1-800-847-2911 number. It must be a scam.
