Called claiming to be From Dunn and ***dstreet with c****es to our business credit report. Gave me this number to call back but it was busy. Then gave me another number to verify. Decided that it was a little unlike D&B so looked up the number....be careful.

Called our office regarding activity on our business credit report and tried to sell me a $449 credit report. I found out later they contacted another person in our company and tried the same thing. Not D&B!!!

Called my office claiming to be with Dunn and ***dstreet. Not a D&B #.

Please if you have any su****ions call your state's attorney general and report it to him also write to your local tv station so that they will investigate it as well. Never ever give out yourinformation on the phone or email no matter who they say they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a call from an Ashley claiming to be with Dunns and ***dstreet regarding information on recent transactions on my credit report.

Got a call from a rep named Joshua claiming to be with Duns & ***dstreet 800-869-7155 Ext 3207.

These people called our office and said they were with Duns and ***dstreet and at that time we were trying to get a hold of them to call us back. Well we got a call from 800-869-7155 ex 3207 stating thery were with D and B and we bought a D & B credit report for 449.00 well there is no such #. I called D & B and asked them about the number and they said that is not from us. They do not have a 800 # all of there numbers s**** with 888. I got a call from the a processing center that my card will not go thru. Which was a good thing cause now I know that it was a fake #.

I got a call from that number also, she said her name was Courtney shall or so****ing like that, and referred the worldwide business bureau, ***!

I have received repeated calls from this number as well over the past year (including one yes****ay).  Every call I get sounds su****ious.  My company's credit is impeccable and has been for 30 years - so why are they trying to scare me into buying a report?  I agree if this is a "scare tactic sales call" as Surprised stated yes****ay, then D&B needs to rethink their marketing strategy.  It merely lowers my opinion of the entire D&B operation.

I just had a call from this number too.  It certainly sounded su****ious to me.  I called it back and it was answered 'it's a beautiful day at Dunn and ***dstreet, how may I help you?"  I couldn't imagine D&B answering the phone that way!! If it really is D&B, then they need to train the folks so that they sound less su****ious.  We were told that we had bad credit and needed to sign up for a $$$ report to sort it out.  I called D&B direct and NO, we do not have bad credit.  So, if it isn't a scam, it's a scare tactic sales call and D&B should stop it now.

I just wanted to inform anyone who happens to read or post any adverse comments regarding the 1****697155 telephone number, that you are poorly mistaken if you feel that it is tied to any scam masked as a D&B call.  That is a number to Dun&***dstreets only U.S. bound outsourced vendor, the other two would be Optima in Ca***a and a lovely New Dehli, India customer service at 18002343867.  The president of the said firm, On-Line Communications Golbal Inc, is Tom O'Connor.  Dun&***d, along with OLC, will soon issue a statement regarding this matter within the next month on a web wide basis.  Any internal D&B rep who tells you this is a scam number is in breach of a long-standing contract as well as practicing very un-ethical sales practices to edge out the compe***ion.  Please do not make ignorant****umptions, or believe anything you read on the internet from those who have done the latter.  Anyone who seems to be interested in doing some real, truthful research regarding this matter will find the larger picture.  I recommend Francis Frankhauser or Mark Frantz, those are two D&B internal employees in charge of the relation and verification of the OLC Global, and D&B.

A woman called and said her name was Demara Mchargue calling from Dun & ***dstreet asking for the owner of the company. I  said he was not in but I would leave a message. She said it was regarding the report he had just sold with us, and to call 800-869-7155 ext 1728. Right away I knew so****ing wasn't right so I did the reverse phone look up on www.whitepages.com and there was no business listed under this number. I also googled it and found this site....

A woman who identified herself as Mikaela ****ell called our company just before 6 PM EDT and said she was with Dun & ***dstreet.  She said that when we bought another company (in 2005)no one notified D&B so that the credit reports accurately reflect the right company.  She said she needed to talk to an officer of the company because there had been credit activity in the last 60 days on the account of the company we purchased.Our CFO walked by and he spoke with her.  She said that she had gone past the screen that showed the activity and she couldn't back up.  She told him she would need someone to call her back tomorrow.  I had already told her the CFO would not be in tomorrow.  She gave me this number (800)869-7155, ext. 2231 and asked us to call.  She said it had been a tough day and if she sounded rude she apologized.  She made it sound critical that someone call her right away.  She tried to enlist my sympathies and said so****ing about me helping her, "Woman to woman."  I just had an odd feeling about the call.  That's why I googled the number and found this site.
