My sister who lives about 700 miles away from me, got a message for ME from this number today. She emailed and wondered why. I hope these a**holes don't s**** plaguing my family with daily calls. I'm filing for chapter 7 and my lawyer says don't talk to these people and don't send payments. Guess I'll have to s**** answering their calls a***n.

It's CBCS, a collection agency. My debt has been settled but they have been calling me and leaving that message with my name and that 800 number. (904)-722-2265 is the number that shows up in my missed calls when I get the message.

They keep calling and when I pick up. It says wait while we transfer to another person (like a recording). I ****up after that. They left a voicemail that only says the number, not who they are.

CBCS is a s***bag Debt Collector - People Listen to me - DO NOT DEAL WITH A DEBT COLLECTOR - They have NO RIGHT to ask you about a debt and you don't have to tell them anything.  Simply state "That person does not live here and If you continue calling, I am informing you that this phone call is being recorded and I will bring this matter to a lawsuit a***nst your company if you do not stop calling this number now." - Keep a record of all calls from these s***bags - and when you get a letter from them, send them a CEASE AND DESIST LETTER.REPEAT - DO NOT DEAL WITH A DEBT COLLECTOR - Everytime that they collect a debt, they get commission - and yes, even though they are not supposed to rude to you, they are.  Debt Collectors are low life schmucks that can't find any other work to do and they are hired for their aggressive at***udes.

Called me about a debt that I paid by credit card about a week ago.  I understand that it may not be in their system yet but the guy was rather rude and ticked me off so I told him I was recording him (when he said he was recording me) He said "I do not authorize that" I told him I was recording anyway and he got ticked and ***g up!!

My mother received a call looking for my ex-husband, whom I have been divorced from since 1996. I called them to find out what is up and was rudely asked if I were Mrs.____. I said"not since 1996". I asked them to no longer call my mother, but was told they were collecting a debt and that was the number he gave! We never lived there even when we were married and both of us have been remarried several years.

My MOTHER got a call today from this same number looking for my ex husband.  Not only have we been divorced 13 years, but have both been remarried over 6!  I called them and they rudely asked me if I was Mrs. _____, to which I replied "Not since 1996"!  They asked if I knew how to reach Mr. ____ and I said no, but to please not call my mother a***n!

These people are continually calling my number. They never leave a messaage on my answering ma****e and my caller ID does not show their name. I do not owe anybod, anything so they need to cease and decist calling me. I'm tired of the incesant phone calls with no one on the other end when I pick up the phone.

a ma****e repeated my name twice, and then the number twice.not a way to get me to call back.I use caller ID and choose whether to answer or not, ***** these ***ps.

Autodialer maybe trying to identify when the call should be made live; I answered and line disconnected."Unknown" on caller ID, but the number was visible.

My complaint is the same as the above comment's. How and who can I contact to report this harrassment to. Please advise me on this web site and I will see it. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Received this call in the early morning when I would like to be asleep.  There is no name so I have no idea who they are trying to contact.  My phone number is used by others for messages, etc - nephew, 2 grandchildren living with me, 2 sons, and other grandchildren with no phones.  I just **** up.

Caller stated they were a collection agency looking for "Lori Anderson" from West Chester PA. This was a lie. They were actually looking for someone with my name.  When I called back they a***n stated they wanted to know if I knew a Lori Anderson.  I guess they thought I was born yes****ay. What ever you do DO NOT call these people back! They will****ign someone else's debt to you.

caller would not tell me what crs is/was---------very very rude person who spoke----said they had tried many times to call, not true.   this person first said dept. manager then said important to call this number.     Still very rude person who spoke when i called the number back.................i kept asking what they wanted and who crs is----very rude to me, harrassment would be the name of this game with them.

John Lewis the "department manager" called my house too.  I check my credit report and my husband's and we don't owe these people anything.  They are listed nowhere on it.  Based on this I would****ume they are a collection agency that buys very old debts that can no longer be collected on or reported for pennies on the dollar and then they try to collect the money if they can.  I stored their number in my phone with the company name so the next time they call I can tell them to take a hike...

A person named John said they have tried to attempt to call. Gave the phone number 800-869-7434.  that they are calling for a Mike Bass.  No company name.  Tried to call back and no ringing. dead. Who is this and why are they calling

1-800-869-7434 called and the message begins just like the previous post from "kma". They do not leave who they are calling for or even the company.No name shows on the caller ID.
