I'm 13! Why would they call me?

Automated call said they were the "Business Office" and had so****ing important to discuss with me. I called back and held for 15 minutes because operators were "helping other customers" I could then press 1 to leave a message. My message was that if my phone number received another automated call from their number I would be filing charges. That went to mail box 16 - more automation. I have a feeling this has been set up to try and solicit any information they can from you when you call the 800# back. If you do ever talk to an actual person. The more information they get from you such as your name makes the calls sound more realistic/important when they call the next time and so on.

I received a call from this number claiming their business office needed to speak with me regarding an important matter. When I called the messaging system asked for my account number and since I didn't even know who it was I didn't know what to put so I listend for options to speak to a representative.  Of course all were busy and I could wait or leave a message. I first chose to wait but when I had already waited 3 minutes I left a message instead with my name and number.  I have yet to hear back from them.  Although after reading Pegbells complaint I know who I should call.  Thank you

I recieve calls from this number quite often, when I listen to messages, they leave an automative message that just say the numbers 8623. Not sure if its a sales call or bill collector, either way they should identify themselves. can't trust 800 numbers these days!!!!!!

This number calls me constantly and it doesn't make any difference what time of the morning or evening the calls are made.

The Business Office is the collection service office for the Christus Hospitals. They do not readily identify themselves or the patient they are attempting to locate in case they have a wrong number. did not recognize number, left msg without telling me who they are.

I returned the call and got the message about "the business office" so I left a rather stern message to remove my phone number.  They called back today and I answered the phone this time and a lady was on the line telling me that she would remove my phone number.  I asked her who she was and she said, "I'm Crystal with the business office".  I asked, "WHAT business office" and she responded, "Christus Hospitals - I am out of Houston".  But she was looking for someone named "Wanda" (no one I know).  So apparently this is a legitimate number but a "cheesy" way that collectors are trying to locate debtors.  Since the number they were calling was one I've only acquired in the past few days, apparently "Wanda" had the number prior to me getting it.

Keep calling asking to return a call to the business office. This is a pre-recorded message. Called the number and get message telling me to leave a message.

Received a call from this number. When I answered, there was a computer recording stating that their business office had an important matter to discuss with me. To please call this number back and have my home phone number ready. When I called back, got a ma****e. What gives? Must not be too important or they would make sure someone was there to talk to me. Leaves me a little su****ious as to the nature of the important matter that they would like to discuss. I have read of several hospitals on the internet that use this number for debt collection, but seeing as how the last time I was in a hospital was when I was 11 to have my tonsils removed, I do not see where I would owe a debt. And until they decide to answer the phone, I doubt that I am going to worry too much about it.

This place keeps calling talking about a car warranty expired. It's prerecorded, makes you wait for someone to get on the line and then they place you on hold for a high pitch sale. They call every day almost.

Still don't know who is calling from this number or what they want.
