Leave a CommentThis is a spam solicitation call for Broadview/Brinks Home Security. These are robo-calls that, apparently, do nothing but annoy the***** outta me! I don't even get solicited! Call 800-379-9194. Go through the prompts as if you are wanting to secure your 1,475 Acre Southern Plantation complete with the Southern Colonial Mansion and outbuildings. When you get a human on the line, immediately ask for a supervisor. When they come on, CALMLY explain the reason you are calling. They will ask a few ?'s, and should remove you from whatever*****call list we got on.
Calls twice a day, every weekday, for the last two weeks. Never leaves a message, probably auto dialer. Offering Home Security.
This is Brinks Home Security. not sure where they got my number, but they are trying to sell me unwanted goods/services.
Home Security call. Will not stop calling. No message left either. We are moving into a new home and I think that is where they got our number! Which is my cell. So annoying.
Googled this number and came up with Mike Burchfield, affiliated with Brinks Home Security. I am not a client of Brinks or whatever company they are now. Pesters me at least once a day on my cell, including weekends, and never leaves a message. All this even though I am on a do-not-call list.
I've gotten called by this number for the last month, at least 1 or 2 times per day. They never leave a message and the one time I answered, they ***g up. What gives???
I've been getting calls from 800-884-8682 for the past 5 weeks, 2 to 3 calls a day, no message. I finally got ****ed off and bought an air horn and when they call my cell at home I give it a good blast. I did find out that the home inspection company (Mossman Inspection llc) gave my number out. I did not give him permission to do so.
I've been getting a call from this number every day at 10:00 and sometimes later in the day. It is annoying.
Been in the telecom industry, I can tell you s****ing is illegal, you can always use other resources to follow thru. You may want to contact The US attorney general, the FCC as well as the FTC. Also if this is interstate you can actually contact the FBI. Based on the law, they cannot contact you at your place of business. They are only legally able to contact you at your home; you can also send a stop and desist letter via certified mail.Record their conversation, when you speak to them if you do, many of them have no clue of the law and make drastic mistake threatening people. They can't make any statements in which they can destroy your credit, call your family, call your work and or tell everybody that you have debts and you do not pay, this is protected by the law. In this case now you have the upper hand, as now they open the door for a lawsuit, you can actually sue the person that called you as well as the company as they are liable for any statement of guaranty that they make, almost any attorney will take this type of cases on contingency. Is an infringement of your rights and punish by law. This people use scare tactics to scare people and even collect many times the same debts that have been paid previously. If you speak to them ask them to send the do***ent in which it shows you owe any money in general they no longer have it so they cannot prove you owe any.The reality is nothing that they can do to you, if you do not or can't pay, they must take you to court and get a judgment a***nst you, and then they need to be able to collect. Of course they must serve you first and have proof of such. You want to get even, call then day in and day out, to their numbers use redial, and have anybody that you know do the same, do it day in and day out, that will shut down their PBX system, if they do it to you do it to them.Yes annoying, but effective if ***dreds of people do the same and saturate their phone lines.Let me give you info on some of the worse in the USA.You also can talk directly to the company that you owe money and make a settlement, in many cases for example let say you owe them 15,000.00 they will settle for much less, also make sure they do not report you to the IRS for the full amount if not you will be force to pay taxes on the portion unpaid, Make sure they clean your credit if not is no purpose of having a settlement, make sure you get all in writing first. Also ask them to send the do***ent in which it shows you owe any money in general they no longer have it so they cannot prove you owe any.RGS Financial http://www.rgsfinancial.com/P.O. been getting a call from this number several times a week - no message and no one appears to be on the line.
This number keeps calling, never leaves a message, and when I answer there is no one there.
This is definitely Brinks since I mistakenly gave them my phone # last week before I found out that they will not come out and re-set my master alarm code without me signing up for their monitoring system. The thing is it just dead air for 5 seconds so I can't even tell them to stop calling.
Yes, Broadview security a division of Brinks. Tipped off by home inspection company Land America (they admitted this). Trying to sell you an alarm system. I answered and told them to call back 3 weeks later, which they did. They won't stop until you answer and tell them you either already have an alarm system or don't want one. Telling them you already have one is a better way to go if you don't want to get a spiel.
Brinks Home Security. They call and I answer and all I hear is dead air. How do I get these clowns to stop? Call the Better Business Bureau?
They will just keep calling. I was solicited by my home inspector I believe.
I get this call 5x/week for the past 3 weeks
Left 3 second voicemail of dead air
