Leave a CommentI called the number. I had to punch in my telephone number. It was a card access number and there was NO reason for Bank of America to call me. I asked the operator to take my name and number off the list and never to call a***n. And I am going to report this pratice to the attorny general of New York
It is a Bank of America number. I called tonight and was really worried that it was a scam and that I just gave my iden***y away. Therefore, I called Bank of America from the number that is on my bank statement and tripled checked with their loan department and that number is legit.
Really annoying, 3rd time this has happened this year. Fake, don't call them back!

THEY CLAIM TO BE AN AFFILIATE OF BANK OF AMERICA, BUT THEY ARE NOT AND ARE FRAUD. IT IS SO IMPORTNAT TO NEVER CALL THAT PHONE NUMBER. IF YOU HAVE, AND YOU GAVE THEM YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, YOU'RE PERSONAL SECURITY IS SHARED WITH THOUSANDS.
S****ed getting the same calls . ID says out of area then I get the message to call the #. Definitely iden***y theft scam!!! Also, they are just calling random #'s so if you return the call they know they have a legitimate # that they can add to a list that they sell to telemarketers/scammers. DO NOT CALL BACK !!!!

Called three or four times..wanting me to return call immediately hours are from 8am to 10pm
I called them and asked who they were; they said Bank of America!
If you google it, you get hits for MBNA credit cards. I don't have one, so they must be lying that it is "not a sales call or a solicitation". Or they have a wrong number, which ****s for me since they call everyday.
