I received a call from this number today.  I do not and never have had an account with Compass.

I have an account with compass, I called them and they said it was one of thier 800 numbers. So I called it and it went to the line where you can check on your account.

I had the same occurance today with an automated call from th BBVA Compass bank. They wanted my SS# and I said no as well. This is rediculous. Not a very efficient operation nor do they update there systems properly.

this IS compass bank.  they just called me and said there was some strange activity on my account.  I called them back on this same # and it was the bank.

I called it back when I go off and the automated ma****e said that it was compass bank...I ***g up and called the number that i normally call compass on and gave them the number that had called me and they stated that this is not a good number for compass and that the bank would never call you. They are investigating and would inform all of their customers.

This call is indeed from Compass Bank. An automated dialer will call your number if you have insufficient funds in your account or if there has been activity that they feel you should be aware of. Often times the automated dialer will call a phone number that is no longer****ociated with the account holder, and there is always the possibility that an automated system will make a mistake. However, ***ody from Compass Bank should be verifying your account information by use of your social security number over the phone. They need only your account number and password. If you have been asked for your social security number, than you need to visit your local ***nch office in person as soon as possible to report this violation.

I get numerous calls from this number stating I need to take care of my account, I do not have an account with them.  I spoke to them and they state they can only look me up if I give them my social security number.  I will not do that. They need another way to verify information!!

Yes this number is really from Compass Bank, they just wanted to let you know that your account is overdrawn and need to make a deposit.

It's just a wrong number.  My account is with Compass and they call me if there is so****ing with my account that I need to be aware of.

Have gotten numerous calls from this number stating that they are Compass Bank and have an important message for me concerning my account. I have NEVER had an account with Compass Bank--this is either a wrong number issue or a scam
