Claims my (minor) child owes $60 for music 3 month subscription from 2005. This is impossible. they pressure you for your credit card # and threaten to ruin the child's credit rating. told them I have no proof and was never notified timely of the supposed bill for Sony bmg music. The "supervisor" of the middle-Eastern sounding fellow was quite hostile over the phone when I refused to give information. We receive the garbled static-ridden recorded message daily.

I don't even know if these guys are a legit debt collection agency, as they claim they are. A man with a horrible Korean accent told me that I owed 80 dollars to Sony BMG Music from 2005. The thing is, I am 15 years old, 12 at the alleged time, and couldn't possibly have purchased 80 dollars worth of CDs without my parents finding out. Jeff also stated that my address was totally different from my actual one, and get this, it didn't even exist!! At that point my grandma got on the phone and had them call my dad. They told my dad that they had my social security number and that he should pay immediately. How sketchy is that?!?!?!

This rude individual will not take no for an answer. He even cussed me out. He won't let you get a word in edgewise. Be careful, if you tell him off they will keep calling up to 10 times a day! I'm not joking, I'm calling the cops tonight to file a harassment complaint. If I was 20 - 30 years older I literally would have had a heart attack with how upset this guy made me. If you tell him to mail so****ing or give you the number to BMG themselves he c****es the subject and acts even more ridiculous.

I received a call from this number on my cell phone. When I answered, the line was full of static and I couldn't hear a word that they were saying. After asking them to repeat themselves a few times, the line disconnected. I called back and sat on hold until I was finally connected to a full mailbox and was told to call back at a later time. Then I googled the number and saw that quite a few people say that this company has been scamming people out of their personal information. I know for a fact that I don't have any outstanding debts that they could be calling about. Don't share ANY information with this company!

Got this call and the line was all broken up and full of static. It was "imperative" that I call back. I called the number back and got a busy signal. I too am on a Do Not Call list. Sounds like a scam to me!

I have been receiving messages from this company as well stating that we owe them money for cd's.  The very funny thing is that neither me nor my husband have ever ordered cd's from anywhere.  We either buy them from walmart or best buy.  I have tried to call them back around 15 times and continuously get sent to a full mail box.  I am also on the do not call list.

When I return the call I get an answering service and then it says the mailbox is full!! And this is really annoying to use up my answering ma****e and no one is there or you can't reach anyone !!!! What ever happened to the NO CALL LISt???? It sure isn't working in my area !!!!

Was taking a survey on line and somehow got signed up for columbia house. Got some free dvd's if I would buy 3. received and paid for 1 which was grossly over prices with shipping. About 27.00 total for a dvd I could buy in the store for about 10.00. received a second one I never ordered and didn't open just put back in the mailbox with return to sender. Now I am being sent to a collection agency for payment of the last 2 i never received but they say i am required to purchase. I don't pay for anything i haven't received. They are billing me for about 80.00.

Caller left voice message that i couldn't understand saying how imperitive it is that I call him back...looks like a scam to me.

Why would I call a company number if I don't know what company it is? It could be a telehacker tryin to get my data from my telecommuications company to hack my tel number to rack up my phone bill! I heard these type of scams exist, but I never thought I would****entially be wrapped up into one!

I just "finally" called them, because they call everyday. They have not left messages. I said*****o, but it seems the "second" time you say*****o is what triggers them that a live person is on the line. They have and automated dialer that redials every day. It is a scam. They are trying to get your informaton.

I too have been receiving these calls. I normally don't answer 800#'s so they have been leaving messages. The messages are full of static and I am not able to make out any of the information left. This morning I received the call once a***n. This time I did answer. I was told that I owe money for CD's that I know have been paid for, because I used my c/c to pay instead of charging to my account. I was threatened with this being sent into the credit bureau and staying on my credit for 7 years if I didn't take care of it immeadiately. I asked for them to fax me or e-mail so****ing showing I owed this amount. Still waiting on the fax 5 hours later. I've tried numerous times to return the call only to be sent into a voicemail. I'm very glad I found this website because I defintely know they will not be getting any of my information!!!!!!!

These people call my cell phone every freaking day, sometime 2-3 times a day. I too,called the number off my caller ID and got the same Indian accent. My cell # is also on the "do not call" list.

Some guy said his name was "Jerry" called & mumbled "urgent that you call" LOTS of static on line - could not hear it all but he gave number to call as 800-898-4426.When it was called, a woman with an alien accent (East Indian?) said so****ing that sounded like "Ticaro Companies". Very garbled message on my cell phone from a male and could not make out his name. they didn't say what they wanted, it was like a taped message wanting me to return the call--even though I answered the phone. i immediately looked the number up online and read here that i'm not the only one who received a call from these idiots.

I was wondering about this too, as the message and call I recieved were exactly as everyone else had mentioned, though I do owe money to my credit card. I don't know , the whole thing is fishy.

Very static-filled message left on voicemail once a day, with multiple calls at other times of the day.

I hate scam s*** like this, the best thing to do is stick it to them. I am right now using skype to automatically call them over and over. I don't know if this will cost them or not, at least it ties their phone line up. I think everyone should do the same.Stop scammers, get educated, spread the word and more importantly, beat them at their own game!

I've received several of the same calls described.  Multiple messages were left that are garbled and the phone number given is undetectable.  I looked up the 800-898-4496 number from my caller ID on the internet and got this site.  I'm relieved to see that this is apparently a poor attempt at a scam and I will not return the call.  I also sent a message to the BMG music site to notify them that this was out there and that they might want to investigate.

I've received two voice mails from them.  I could make out all of the phone number except the last 2 digits on both messages.  I could not make out the company name.  The second time, the phone number showed up on my phone so I called back (1 800-898-4426).  I returned the call only to be sent to voice mail. What do you do if they continue to call?
