I purchased a car extended warranty on Jan. 27, 2009 from Trans Continental Warranty with a down payment of $450.I was told by JIMMY DAVIS the manager, that I can cancel it any time for any reason within 30 days. On Feb. 25, 2009 I cancelled the contract and I received a cancelation confirmation #. Being within 30 days I was reassured that I will receive all the money back, but I have to fill in some forms which I did once I received them.Nothing happened. I kept calling and each time I was told that I am en***led to receive the money back.Sometimes in Apr. I was called by a person called Jackie, representing Trans Continental Warranty asking the millage on my car so they can proceed with the reimbur*****t of $450. I told her the millage.A week or so later she called me a***n, saying that she has to verify the millage because there is a discrepancy. She told me to go to the car and tell her the exact millage. I told her that in my opinion this is irrelevant from their point of view because I never used their insurance but I will do it anyhow. When I called her back at 800-912-1667 ext.356 the ph. was answered by a recording saying that the nr. was disconected w/ no further info.I called the company's main ph.nr. 888-998-9893 only to find out the same message. What can be done in a situation like this in order to recuperate the money ?
