I just received a phone call from a 5-062-218-8473 they said they worked for MasterCard and Visa and wanted to give me a better interest rate on my card. I asked which card and they said Capitol1. I don't have such a card, then i asked how much I owe and what my balance was. They told me i owe $2500. and that I was paying a 19% rate. I asked a***n who he worked for, what agency & how i could contact them. The man stated that the information had come from the credit Bureau, then gave me the 1 800-917-5574 number to call back and i told him to f*** off. They were after my credit card information and knew my name and address not what cards i'm a holder of though.
This is not Reader's Choice, but they claim to be. I have had numerous calls from this company and they want my CC #. When I won't give it to them, they threaten me with collections. When I ask for a contact numberr and further information, they **** up.
this number calls me ALL the time. usually when i pick up they just **** up right away. the last 2 times they called someone was actually there when i answered. they claim to be from remington or so****ing like that. they say i owe them 162 dollars and said if i dont take care of it now, it will be forwarded to some "3rd party" ****. now ive never even heard of remington. i dont know why i owe for services or product ive never recieved. Does anyone know what to do?
This number calls nonstop. Does not leave message.. I ask who they are when I answer and they demand to know who THEY are. It is called Readers Choice. They CLAIM that I signed up for their magazine service and ordered 4 magazines which I have never read before in my life and they also sent me vacations to use.. I have not received the magazines nor have I received the vacations. THis place is a fraud and just take money. No idea how they got mine!
1 800-917-5574 calls my phone but they **** up before my phone even rings, so I have no idea who they are or what they want
they keep calling my phone during the day. but I don't answer. its gotten to the point where it has become iritating. is there anything we can do?
I am also getting those calls. I usually ignore. I've picked up twice this week. Both times, somebody casually says "Hi, Stephen?" I tell them the truth: I've had this number for >20 years, and there's no Stephen here.My guess? COLLECTION AGENCY. I don't know why Stephen gave him my number, though. I've had collections call me before trying to track down my sister, and the sneaky way that they casually ask for Stephen fits.Next time, I'm going to ask some questions, and inform them that further calls will be reported as harassment. I'll post if I get any answers.
I keep getting calls from this number about every hour on weekdays. I never answer because I don't know who it is. Only the number shows up when they call. When I call back it say "this call will be recorded for quality****urance." Who does this number belong to.
