Received a message that my account had been compromised by an unknown user in Russia. (i’ve never received a contact from Xfinity by email before, this was very weird) don’t pick this up!!!
e-mail said Xfinity account had been accessed from Russia using Google Chrome and listed my wife's name. She is not****ociated with the account at all plus we never ever use Chrome. Finally the e-mail address showing in the from was from a Gmail account, Xfinity has never used a Gmail account in all my dealings with them.
Someone had entered my email address from Russia. Call them if it was not me entering my email at 11:53 and gave 800-930-6743.
Run from these Scammers!
These people are Scammets! Claim to be Microsoft and Google Security, but are out of the country and are involved in Network Fraud. They are trying to get your personal information and get into your computer if your having problems claiming to be able to help fix your computer. The bottom line is they want to sell you security equipment thru another company. BEWARE!!!!!! Do NOT give your password to them or any other information. Remember Microsoft had no phone number to talk to you and does not work on your computer neither does Google! If it’s not Microsoft.com it’s not legitimate.
