They texted my wife with "Rent2Own 3bd/2ba home from $194/mo. Apply rent to down payment on local foreclosure. For available rental list Call: 1800-935-4289" definitely don't call or respond... don't text back STOP either... that will just tell them your phone is active and you got the text. total scam!

Same deal here. I'm really glad I found these postings before I called the 800#. They've actually sent a couple of texts to my cell phone.

If you receive a text message, reply with Stop as your message back.  You will then receive another text saying you opted out.  This is the information from the recording when I called the phone number (not from my cell phone!!).

I got a text from them, too.  Too bad there isn't a way to make THEM pay the charges!

Same thing, got txt "rent to own" to end reply "STOP".Somebody should take these idiots offline.

Got the same txt message, called my provider and its a total scam...DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFO TO THESE IDIOTS!!! You can have their number blocked so you wont receive any more messages from them.. Side note Thanks for your post, Google to the rescue...lol

Same thing got a text about rent to own, googled this number 1-800-935-4289 and found these posting. Sounds like a scam.

1800-935-4289 is a scam I just called  they told me abot an offer then wanted my visa number I didn't want to give it ***g up on me...
