It's Legit. If you went through Coldwell Banker Home Mortgage, it's their holding company also.

It was PHH because I am currently late on only that one bill.This number called me to have a recorded message tell me to hold and that they have an important message for me. Well, being a responsible person who wants to pay and bill that I may have overlooked, I waited for 2 minutes and the message repeated over 15 times. It finally told me that no one could take my call and for me to call THEM back. Hahahahaha. YOU CALLED ME, AND TOLD ME YOU WERE TOO BUSY TO TALK TO ME RECORDED MESSAGE!!!LOL. FML.

The phone call s****s as a recorded message.  "your call is important to us, please stay on the line."It is a scam, they are looking for account info and routing info.Anyone who posts otherwise is lying and certainly works to continue the scam. They are being investigated for iden***y theft. Please use the do not call registry to help block and report them.

It's a mortgage company, they only call when they are late and if you have to call them back it's a hassel.  I just filed bankruptsy so I don't know why they are calling me, I'll have to refer them to my attorney.

Try calling them back.  They outsourced everything to India.  So when you call with a problem you can't talk to anyone.

They do act su****ious, but they knew things that only PHH could know (like the exact amount of the check that I had mailed in just a couple days earlier, which was not the same as what I owed, and I had not told anyone else about that amount, and it was a new loan, and a new amount).  I am sure that it is legit, even if they act in a manner that seems like a phishing scam.  I would have ***g up without telling them anything if I hadn't come here first.  I still refused to give out my social, though.

I am getting unwanted call from this number complaining about late mortagage payment.   But it says it is calling from PHH Mortagage.

This is a legitimate company.  I also have a mortgage with them.  They will definitely contact you if you have a late payment.

Left message to call back. I did. the person did not know who I am and ask too many personal questions, like how many loans I got and there numbers. Strange conversation.

This is a legitimate company.  It is PHH Mortgage.  I know, because it is my mortgage company.  If you have a home loan through USAA, chances are, they are your mortgage company.  They really do only call me when I have a late payment.  If  you get calls and they are not your mortgage company, chances are, they have the wrong number.  I've had them for many a year.

Im not sure the deal with this "company", but they wanted to resolve a late payment, claiming to be the managing company for my mortgage. I have my mortgage payment on direct withdrawl from my checking account. When it came time for me make the payment, the company rep. said they could take the payment from my account, but needed for me to verify my routing and account number to ensure they had the correct one. As I was not born yes****ay I told the rep. to tell me the numbers and I would confirm, they could not produce them. Legitimate? Probably not, I cancelled the phone call directly, beware of "mortgage management" agencies who do not have any of your personal information.
