Somehow they got my check card number and I have had two $9.50 charges to my checking account. Wells Fargo removed one charge and canceled the check card. Somehow they were able to post another charge even after the check card was canceled. I called the 1-800 number and got the same message as the others. Sounds like they make the charge small enough so the customer may not notice. What a scam!

I don't know how they got my credit card number, but they charged $9.45 to my credit card from Online Group, NJ.  I called 800-940-9589 and was an automatic voice message.  This is a true scam.  I am trying to file this complaint in BBB.com but I don't have the full address.

$9.50 was charged to my debit card and this number was****ociated with the charge as "online group". When I called the number to investigate, it was a computerized voice mail greeting without any name or business. I went to my bank to dispute this charge. The bank called the number, and the bank says it is a "SCAM"; so please beware. They also informed the police.

This caller is very annoying!! Never leaves a message!! Don't know who or what their looking for!! I will never answer!

I have not received a call from them, but I was just charged $9.55 on a credit card I have not used in a long time.  This phone number is the reference for the charge and all it says is "ONLINE GROUP, NJ".  I am about to call my bank to dispute it.  Has anyone else seen a strange charge to their credit card?

These jack legs keep calling my cell phone number - I've called this number back and I get Citi Bank. They actually left a voice mail looking for some guy named Michael Borden. I've had my cell phone number for at least 15 years.

Well I got a call saying that I owe $1300 for a card that only had a balance of about 600. Well I tried to call them back and make arrangements to pay because I knew I did owe some money but not that much and theses people are just rude. They ***g up on me when I asked "isnt it illegal for you to threaten wage garnishments", because he said they would garnish about %25 of my check before taxes. Well my sister is an accountant and told me not to worry about it because the small amount of money I owe isnt enough for them to take me to court.

Called at 8:25am, long pointless voice message with no description of caller or intent of call.

$9.50 was charged to my debit card.  The only contact information given was "online group" and this telephone number.  When I called to inquire about the debit that I knew nothing about, all I got was a computer recorded message stating, "your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice messaging system.  Sorry but no one can take your call right now.  Please leave you message after the beep."

Yup, it's Time Warner. They'll call if you're past 30 days or so****ing. I always seem to be paying late.

been getting calls lately from this number, but didn't amswer since didn't recognize the number, nor where it was from (area code). Answered phone 8:30 PM, central time. Man asked for "clint". caller ***g up while I was trying to say "we have no one of that name at this number."

i got a call today at home. Person said they were an operator with an important call and to hold. Put on hold and nothing happened.

You can stop a debt collector from contacting you by writing a letter to the collector telling them to stop. Once the collector receives your letter, they may not contact you a***n except to say there will be no further contact or to notify you that the debt collector or the creditor intends to take some specific action. Please note, however, that sending such a letter to a collector does not make the debt go away if you actually owe it. You could still be sued by the debt collector or your original creditor.

I get about 3 to 4 phone calls a day from this number I do not answer a 888 number and they never leave a message I picked up the phone today to see what it was all about and they tell it's a bill me later and they can't tell me legally what this is all about they send me nothing in writing to tell me what the problem is

Mr Hill is getting annoyed with us because we don't call him back about an "important pending business decision a***nst you" well we are annoyed with Mr Hill calling about some imaginary debt we owe Sears! We don't owe Sears we don't even have a Sears card!

This is a collection agency called Oxford Management. And they will keep on calling until they find the person they are looking for.

I am also a Verizon customer who has received calls from this number, but no one answers not even an automated recording and it is just very annoying. I am a Chase customer, but wouldn't they actually want to speak with someone personally and alert them that so****ing was wrong with their account instead of an automatic dialer that says nothing.

Wow.I've been getting a ton of these calls the last few days and have just ignored them. For a few months I'd have Hollywood video leave a message about a video I didn't return, however, I don't and never have had a Hollywood video account. So I don't know how they have my number, I think they may have mentioned someone's name a few times, but I just ignored them. Its annoying! Maybe I can explain this to the collections people the next time they call me for a video I never rented on an account that isn't mine. Makes sense doesn't it? lol

A man called and would not identify himself. Further research pointed to MRS****ociates - a collection company.

have been getting these calls for more than a month; irritating of course. I COMPLAINED TO https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx IF ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAIN, HOPEFULLY THIS HARRASSMENT WILL STOP. Was surprised to google this number and see so many people complaining

Automated phone service calls at least three times a week for a few months leaving a message that it is business orientated with a reference number but does not state the name of the business or name of person calling. Also, I have been on the do not call list since it began. If this is indeed so important, why don't they just send registered mail? I refuse to answer or call back ANY unknown person.

Think of yourselfs as lucky. I have two auto loans through them. One is due on the 1st, the other on the 7th. They s**** calling be on the 20th for the one that's due on the 1st, and the 25th for the one that's due on the 7th.. Aprox 10~12 days BEFORE they are even due. My bank sends out the checks like normal, has for years (Billpay from my banks website) Most of the time I get 15~25 calls PER DAY from their automated system just to my cell phone. They will not stop calling no matter how many times I tell them to. They keep asking where I work, but I'm refusing to tell them knowing they will call there as well.

I think the same girl called me! It was the same thing--half a message and same content. If I remember right her name is Angela. They really need to do a better job keeping track of these people that don't pay their bills. I'm convinced that all you have to do is move, and you'll never have to pay for anything.

THEY HARASS AND THREATENED PEOPLE IN TO PAYMENT AGREEMENTS. THE TRICK IS, THE ZOMBIES DON'T HAVE ANY LEGAL RECOURSE TO COLLECT ON SAID DEBT. THIS IS WHAT MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW. THEY WILL TRY TO PUT NEGATIVE MARKS ON YOUR CREDIT HISTORY, BUT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CONTEST IT AND THE CREDIT HISTORY COMPANIES WILL REMOVE IT. DO NOT CALL THEIR TOLL FREE NUMBERS.

A woman who identified herself as Amy Browder called and left a message asking the call be returned and to referance a certain number. She did not identify who she was trying to reach. I called the number, but blocked mine. The man that answered the phone identified I had reached RCI but wouldn't divulge what type of business I had reached. I ***g up. Google identifies this number as belonging to RCI a collection agentcy in Carrollton, TX.

A man called my work giving the name of Mr. Miller needing to talk to me. Said he was with a law firm. I asked him what law firm and he said "Hanna". Like I'm to know who Hanna is?! This Mr. Miller told me that this call was in reference to "Curtis". I have no clue about "Curtis" anything! Too weird! I didn't give him any info..told him I would have to call him back. I called the number right back and a message said that they are a collection agency. I have no debt!

these people keep calling my house looking for someone that i don't even know and then they proceed to tell me how i am doing this person "an injustice" by not giving them the message!!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHO THE PERSON IS .. DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE IF YOU SEE THE NUMBER ON YOUR CALLER ID!!!

I never answer the number because it they call me everyday.
