Caller pretends to be Macy's merchant representative. If you don't recall account number, she asks you to provide social security number.

Computer voice says to call that number

this number has called me many times this week. I had a mix-up in the past involving macys so I initially thought that was it. It said it was macy's membership hotline for a macys card and to enter the last 4 digits of my social security number. SCAM ALERT. I googled this number and others said it claimed to be other things even a law firm!

Wanted me to enter my 9 digit ssn on my cell phone keypad. Called 4 times in a 2 hour period. Tried to let macys know that a scammer is s****ing their debt collection number and the woman did not understand and did not understand her. And also all you people who love to call others deadbeats my account is current. Just remember if your hands ain't clean, don't come to the table.

Called 7 times in 2 days. We never answered the phone. It was a robocall because they couldn't get through Google Voice.

Call everyday asking for Stephanie I’ve told them 100 x I’m not Stephanie and they have wrong number. Freaking annoying!!!

This is a scam using Macy’s na*****e name on this account is not even spelled the same way.

Why don't they identify themselves if it is so important?

We keep receiving calls asking to speak with my teenager son who does have a Macy's card, but it only as $100 limit and he hardly uses it,  It is paid current and up to date.  When I ask why they are calling, they avoid the question and say the could only speak to my son.  I've repeatedely asked them not to call and they are very rude.  Now calling every day.  I can't understand why we all have the number and it can't be tracked down and stopped. It's obviously some kind of scam and/or they are trying to get personal information for one reason or another.

they just called my dad and said that they wanted to speak to me. He asked who it was and they didnt tell him, said it was a personal business call. My dad said that they've called a couple of times before requesting me...Im not talking to them!

called wanted my wife and said not home who is this and would not answer the question said couldn't because it was a personal business matter. I asked him a***n and told them do not call this house a***n.

They keep calling here at work looking for a co-worker.  They just say it is a personal business matter.

They keep calling saying its important to speak to (name)! It's so annoying, they need to stop calling.
