SOMEONE ELSE's DEBT- they want information from me...WHAT?   WHO?   WHY?:Repeat of DAILY harassing calls, weekends including SUNDAYS!, multiple calls per day...for SOMEONE else's Debts, they're calling me to provide them with infomation....I'm not a private detective agency nor a law officer...If they're on the "look out for someone" ---PAY a service to provide them with what they want or are LEGALLY en***led to.  Harrassing me is a DEAD END STREET, in case they haven't figured that out.   WHO protects our CIVIL LIBERTIES?  "THE" phone company can't (or WON'T) block 800 numbers or calls to cell phone with their "anonymous call rejection or Call Blocking" services.  [WHAT a SCAM!!!]Caller: 800 Services -DEBT HarassmentCall Type: Debt Collector

I believe it is Macy's

This number calls all day long. About 3 times in the morning and then 2-3 times in the afternoon. Everyday Sun-Sat. Really getting tired of the 8:00am sunday morning phone calls

this # calls 2, 3 times daily.  calling them back over 100 times in a weeks tenure during their prescribed days & hours nets no results.  our bankruptcy has been finalized for over 6 months & we owe no one.  we are on the national registry dont call list

This number is actually MACY's CALIFORNIA  the number is listed on their Billing Statement.

This phone number rings all the time at my home and they don't even leave a voice mail *****ge. It is getting to be annoying.  It looks to me that this is a phone# from a spam company.

Keep getting calls from (800) 989-6229.  Don't know who these ****** people are but like the others above they have been calling non-stop throughout the day and on weekends but when I answer there's an automated message that says please hold and then it ****s up on me! The calls would come in non-stop for a month and then automatically stop for a few months and then s**** up a***n.  Sometimes it's just a beep and then it disconnects. Very annoying! Sometimes they even call my work number and same thing happens...no one is on the line and it ****s up after one ring! And they never leave any messages.  ***??? I just ignore the calls when I see the number pop up.  I'm not going to waste my time with these a**holes. And if it's Macy's I don't even have an account with them!

Called me seven times today.

They keep calling my cell phone sometimes (5) calls per day. About a year back they left a voice mail regarding some individual and a Macy's account. They have done the same thing to my home phone. It seems like they will call every day for about a week and then stop calling. And then they will s**** calling a***n in a month or two. Both phones are registered on the "Do Not Call List". I would like to ***** or **** up their phone dialing ma****e.

Calls s**** just after 8am and continue up to 9pm. I don't have a Macy account and with all of the calls no message is left. After this number is used another call follows leaving no message

I don't believe this is Macy's.  I have never had a Macy's account EVER.  My calls just s****ed coming in over the last few days.  From what I'm seeing from other comments, I don't believe any information should be given out to the person calling.  I believe it is a big deal, as it's probably someone trying to get information to use for iden***y theft.

They keep calling my home REPEATEDLY!  I don't have a macy's account...or any other retail account, for that matter.

It's Macy's collections. Pay your bill and they'll stop :). [[I'm not being sarcastic. They've been calling me, too. Haaaa... I forgot I had a Macy's card. Silly me.]]

Getting multiple calls from 800-989-6229 on a daily basis...very annoying.

Been calling for days, sometimes five times or more.  From 9:00am until 9:00 pm.  Real pains in the ****.
