Leave a CommentHe called and left a message on my answering ma****e that I won a 2007 automobile.
He called my elderly mother. Thank god he was not reached on a call back. Who knows what he might have talked her into.
Just like everyone else's report, "Bill" left a message saying I had "entered a contest some time back" with a Lincoln Navigator prize and he was "looking at my entry form" and "had some good news" He wanted me to call back. Note he didn't say I had won anything. I wasn't going to fall for that.
Caller left a message on my answering ma****e identifying himself as Bill and said that the contest for the 2007 Lincoln Navigator had ended and that they had my entry and had some good news for me. I never entered a contest. Caller ID gave the number as
Free CAr?

Got the 'Bill' call on June 23. Glad to find out it is nothing more than a Time Share squeeze . . you actually do get so****ing for sitting through their hype, but I've got better uses for my time.
Got the same call from Bill that I entered a contest for a 2007 navigator. Don't remember when though. This is the third time. I called back the first and second times only to be directed to a voicemail. Instructions were to leave a message with your name and a number so that could call back immediatly.Funny thing is that there has been a 2 week gap b/w each call. This has got to be a SCAM! I'm interested to hear what "misty" above finds out.
I posted the above comment also. I am located in Utah and I called the number that you are asked to (1-800-996-0081)and spoke with a woman by the name of Lisa Dixon. She told me that to recieve a "prize" I need to attend a meeting for time share. I will be going to it tomorrow night at 7:30 and see what this is all about. I will write what happened when I get back. Basicly it looks like a new way for time shares to get people in to see if they can do the "BIG" sale.
I just received the call from Bill about a 2007 Navigator. I do fill out a few you could wins. Was wondering if this is a scam. Anyone ever get anything from this company or figure out if it is a scam for sure? I have heard of Global escapes b4.
he called and said you won "Lincoln Navigator", another scam
"Bill" called my old job. Same story as above. I did fill out so****ing for AAA once to go on a cruise. Any connection with AAA (noticed the Global Escapes and Time Share above)?
Just got the famous call from Bill toniqht (june 5, 2008). I have to call back at 1 800 996-0081. Hope that Bill will not call a***n.
It sure would have been nice, but being skeptical about everything these days is a definite good thing...people **** and so does this loser at 800-996-0081
Got the exact same call as Chattanooga above. Who would want a 2007 model? Why not 2008? LOL
Got a call from Bill too!!!! I wonder if he's thought to google his number just to see if we're on to him. Dumb****
Got the call from Bill. I knew that it was a hoax when he did not identify the contest or sweepstakes. Number calling from: 312-625-1467 ;)
What a friendly voice Mr Bill has from the Prize Distribution center that left me a message stating that "he had some good news for me about the 2007 Lincoln Navigator that I had just won from a contest that I had entered several months back." Uhhhhhh-I didn't enter a contest...........S-C-A-M!!!! The number called from was 312-962-0230, they number I was asked to call is 800-996-0081. So be aware IT IS A SCAM......................
It's not a scam! Seriously. I got a phone call saying that I had won a prize and to call back. So I figured it couldn't hurt to at least call. I called and the lady told me I had won one of four: a Lincoln Navigator, a Ba***** cruise, $2500, or a TV. So I went to Westgate Resorts like she said, and I was given a scratch-off card. I scratched and won the trip to the Ba*****! The only catch was that they wanted me to sit through a presentation. No purchase was required though. Not a bad deal for an 8 day vacation, I must say. If you get another call, do not disregard it!
Bill from the Prize Distribution center left a message stating he had my entry in hand for the 2007 Lincoln Navigator also ....gee, I had not entered a contest. He left the call back number 1-800-996-0081 and said 'Congratulations'. Yeah, right. Scam, scam, scam....shame on them.
At least according to the people I talked to (yeah, I called the number and got a live human being), it's for some company called "Global Escapes" in Austin TX. Somehow I managed to fill in an entry form for the contest. Alas, I can't remember doing so. My guess - the extracted my information from the USPS c****e of address info as the contest "s****" lines up with my most recent move. Best I can tell it's a time share scam company.
I received a message that I'd won a Lincoln Navigator. I called back last night and had to leave a message. I called a***n today and had to leave a message. Now I see that everybody thinks it's a scam. I wasn't sure this time because I enter a lot of Publisher's Clearing House stuff, BUT, you can bet ***ody is getting my information without showing me the goods first. Be su****ious of 800-996-0081.
got the same call about so****ing I had won, a car or so****ing... he left a message, his name was Bill. Sounds like a scam... I did not fill out anything for a car or anything like that...

I got a call from Bill on my ma****e saying I won a 2007 Ford, a vacation, or a 27 in flat screen t.v. I took it as a scam when they asked my name and whated my husbands name. And I had to bring him with me to claim my prize. It just sounds funny to me.
