They wanted me to confirm some personal information. However, the caller stated she couldn't tell me the purpose of the call. I didn't give her any information and ***g up!

Caller said this was regarding business issue I had with my bank. I don’t know have any other business than normal banking needs.

Left me a message. I called back and the wanted my account or social number, of course I did not give it to them. Called my back directly.

Commerce bank credit card

Seeking identification information. Don't give it.

Just left me a voicemail saying 'hello?' like five times. People who do this are not only horrible people, but idiots too.

They call me frequently, when I have called back I get their voicemail. I always pay my bills on time... I think it is a scam.

they call me everyday. i answered once and they told me i owed $2300 and they would help me pay it off. i told them i had records of my credit card payments and that they had the wrong person and they ***g up. i called the commerce bank security department and they said it wasn't a valid commerce bank number and there were no flags on any of my accounts that would warrant them calling me. now i just turn my phone off and delete their voicemails

This really is Commerce Bank (not actually the bank, itself, but the debt collector for the bank). You don't have to be worried.They only call from this number if you're obnoxiously overdue on a payment. It's their debt collector which is why it's not on the website. They called me and when I called back they didn't ask for my social security or anything. I've made payments on the phone before so they had all my information already. When I asked them to take the payment out of my checking account THEY confirmed the last 4 digits for ME and gave me my address. They gave me a confirmation code and I'll get one in the mail, as I've gotten in the past. This isn't the first time I've made payments through someone from this number and I've never had my iden***y stolen or my bank account hacked.They're legit. Stop worrying.

I have received calls from this same phone number consistently for the past three days. But when I tried to call back it said, "Number was disconnected". So I went to the Commerce Bank website and no numbers match the phone number that called me. errrrrr

This is a scam. Commerce Bank can verify that it's someone posing as them. All Commerce Bank toll-free #'s are listed on Commerce Bank's website.

I got the same call.But I didnt answer, Caller Id showed unknown and no number either!!!

They claimed to be Commerce Bank but they asked for my social security number, my check numbers, and said I missed a credit card payment.  But don't believe this, they are not commerce bank even though they have a recording saying they are commerce bank.  Watch out!
