S**** contacting the agencies that regulate cellular services and businesses.  This is a problem that is costing people time and money and Verizon should take action.  If they won't take action on their own then we need help from the government agencies.  If enough people bring this to their attention they will take action a***nst Verizon.  I am sick of these messages too.  I would not fall for the scam of responding but many people do and they should not be taken advantage of over and over a***n.  Try contacting news outlets also. The more pressure we can put on Verizon the better.  They are so worthless and as customers we just keep letting them get away with it.

Ayight  here;s the deal at least on an LG - Sometimes the *****ges come in multiples -  You have installed Web Mail *(on a previous fone even sometimes() you have "Notify of new messages" set in Web Mail,  Brew doesn't handle the classification correctly on the BB and the LG  (I am sure other too)ALL VZWALL BREWThey are sending you the notification If you block the number or set Notify to new messages it will stop Calling VZW is pointless - they will not ack that this problem exsits -

this is verizon texting you. It a problem with their web mail. I called them and had them block the number but doing so stops webmail - the rep had no idea what this number was and just blocked it.

I purchased a VZ LG recently, and this **** number literally shows up everyday! I did take VZ's call-block feature for 90 days - but no dice. It still comes thru. I did learn through a friend, that the # is generated out of Utah - and comes from 'Qualcomm' I think. The question is, how the***** do we stop it? Enuf is enuf!

For some reason I had an outgoing call with this number and it showed up as an internal text message.  Never remember sending this ...

Yes, annoying.  I called *611, pressed 0 for a real person, and the Verizon rep blocked it.  Hope it works!

I had to get a new Samsun Omnia as the one I had died.  I called VZW and  with the tech on the phone we googled and got this page.  He talked to the tech team and found out that it was due to my old phone having mobile mail and on the new one i had not set it up yet. They were able to put a  block on this number so i will not receive any more text's.

I get the texts from this number with no real information in them that I can link to anything.  ONline VZW support has no clue and suggest I block them on my verizon.  I am having trouble getting the Support hack to comprehend that they do not show up in MY Verizon".Looks like it is only VZW numbers?

seems like a problem with bb and verizon.  happening to me also, take over my husbands bb with my existing phone number and as soon as we did the transfer at the verizon store, s****ed getting text from this #, every hour almost

Just got my BB yes****ay and in less than 12 hours I have received over 10 texts from this number. Go onto the Verizon website under your log ID and password. Go to security controls and spam block. Put the number in and it will block all text messages. Did it about 1/2 hour ago so I will see if it works.

over 10 time a day I have been getting text and this is not even a new phone klline or phone,I have no idea how they got my # but send me texts at all hours of the day & night, called verizon and the 1st time the guy ref me to do not call list and this did not work called back verizon today and the guy said he would block that text number so hoping that will work.

Doesn't work.  You just end up paying $.25 for an "international text" that is really a Utah area code...NOT international.  Verizon pretends to not know what it is all about but they do...they sure collect their $.25 don't they.  And replying to the test to stop texting per its instructions does nothing.  I fell for it and texted 5 or 6 times to stop....just got charged 5 or 6 times.  It is a vicious circle where they get to just keep collecting money.  I am complaining to the FCC and BBB a***nst Verizon.

I just got a blackberry as well and I got a message from this.  From what I understand, if you had e-mail set up on your previous phone and it was notifying you upon reception of new mail messages you will get these texts.  I believe if you simply reply to it the notifications will stop.  The only other way to stop this is to reactivate your old phone, disable e-mail notifications on it, and then reactivate the new BB.  Try this out, hopefully this will work out for you.  (PS this will charge you .25 cents for an international text message...I don't know why, but I just chose not to fight with VZW about it).  Let me know what you come up with: ei***[email protected]

Got a new phone today with my old number and I'm getting text messages from this number 801-222-2269.  The message looks like code and it's coming in as high priority.

I have been getting it since a week after I got my env2 and I just checked my bill and when I tried to send a text back to it, it shows as a international call?  ***?

I have been getting this text too,  really s****ing to get annoying.
