Convinced its a scam beware. First says law firm then claims to be a debt collector never tells what debt or company the person in question owes. Then as the quote check computer quote debt rises to ridiculous amount.

Trying to collect on a medical debt which is not mine.  Asked them to send me proof, and have yet to see anything.  I know for a fact that there are others with my name out there.  Just because I have been at my job for over 7 years, they figure I must be the person they are looking for.  Whatever.

They are a bill collector. They just called me to collect on $150 debt.Bottom feeders.He said the Law Firm name, but I forgot it.

i s****ed getting calls for a girl that returned their call and now i get a call from them daily. when i ask them not to call they simply say, "this is the # she called us from and we will call you everyday till we reach her. so im looking for a good harassment lawyer cuz it has been 3 weeks now and they call at like 6 o'clock everyday minus weekends.

This is SDA****ociates.  They are a firm in Utah, and they are calling about a debt, even though they state that they are a law office regarding a legal matter that the person they are looking for has with them.  They 'imply' that it is a legal matter, and will not directly answer the question "are you a debt collector?".  When I informed them the party they are calling does not reside here, and how did they get this phone number, they stated that this phone number was put on "their' do***ents.  This would be a lie, because I know the party involved was never in Utah, and so would have no legal responsibilities in Utah.  Bottom line, they will not admit to being a debt collector, so I think that is illegal.  Funny way for a law office to behave.  But what do I know, I'm not an attorney.
