I got a call from 801-297-7811 with te*****formance showing up on ID. I was told I was being called because I am a Bank of America customer and there have been complaints of charges being added to accounts. I was offered a package of credit reports free of charge and then would be charged afterward. I asked how much and was told $12.99 a month. I asked where the call was coming from and was told USA. I asked where in the USA and was told Illinois. I could tell that the call was coming from a "boiler room" because there was a lot of background noise. Overall, the caller was rather obnoxious.

I work all night and get a phone calls from Te*****formance (801) 297-7811 every morning. I am exercising my vocal chords and will be screaming ****** ****** into the phone the next time they call.

This is a telemarketer calling on behalf of Bank of America. I have been getting several phone calls a day for a month (even after asking to be taken off of the list). I get so many offers for other credit cards, I am going to threaten Bank of America with a cancellation. In the meantime, I am going to grab the air horn from my boat and **** it into the phone the next time they call.

several calls every day, when you call back they say "transferring your call". I believe this is a scam to charge you wild rates for long distance connections.

For days now I get calls from this number at various times in the day asking for me. I have an answering ma****e and it's as if these women have never heard of that. They keep asking "hello,hello", it's very annoying and harassing. If it's that important, then leave a message. I would just like them to stop period!!!!

I s****ed getting calls several times day and night about a month ago and I'm sick of it. I thought it was a friend of mine at first that has a Utah cell, but I had her check the number and she had no idea who it is. If I don't know the number I won't answer. So if they want me to answer the need to speak and say who they are calling for.

I just received my second or third call from this number tonight.  They never leave a message.  I also am on the "Do not call" list and I also pay extra for an unlisted number.  My husband works nights and he said if they call and wake him up during the day, they are going to get an earful.

Been called twice with this number. Yes****ay they asked me if I was Filipino and if I made international calls.....Today they called a***n and I just ignored it.

I have had numerous calls from this number,.  They leave no message.  I just called and got put on hold.  I know the area code is from UT.  Their name is shown on my caller ID as Te*****formance.  Is this another one of those shady marketers trying to get around the Do NO Call List?

Same as everyone else. Called for days. My partner finally had enough and answered. The person asked, "Is (my name) home?" and she unthinkingly said "yes", handed the phone to me and then the person was gone. Creepy.

Two calls yes****ay. On the first they didn't leave a message; on the second they claimed to be calling from Bank of America with an offer.

I got the same stuff. Bank of America, blah blah blah etc.But I do not really care. Why?First, I use Skype for all calls, so it costs me almost nothing to receive calls, and Skype address book is unlimited. So I deal with this s*** by creating a contact in my address book, naming it "SPAM 1" (2...3...) and adding these numbers. Each contact can carry about 5 numbers, and I usually have no more than one call in a couple of weeks. Currently there is less than 20 numbers I filter out. 1-2 calls is enough to get there. THen, when I see "Spam" calling me, I can either reject the call, or if I am in the mood to have fun, then I have it when I want it and ready for it :)But if things get worse and you really have ***DREDS of numbers to filter out, it's time to think about multilevel filtering.For those of you who are getting annoyed, my advice is to never tell anyone (except family, close friends, maybe colleagues/boss if you trust them) your real phone #. Yes, not even to bank or IRS - they all are in the same system. Once "information" become a common goodie to trade, there is no privacy anymore. Especially in USA.So, what number to give them instead?Get yourself a bunch of free Google Voice numbers and one Skype number (it's not free but fairly cheap). Route as many Google numbers as you want to corresponding Google voice mail boxes, and set them up to be forwarded to your E-mail. Then set up one free Google number to forward calls to your Skype number.And set Skype to forward unanswered calls to your real number.See? Now you have THREE numbers to be called on, and a single line to ring. If you have more lines, the number of your "ghost numbers" multiplies. For each line, TWO extra numbers to give as your home/cell, and the rest (real) number you only give to whom you trust personally. Caller ID's are forwarded with Google and Skype, so if a caller number does not get displayed, it means ID is s****ed or hidden - disregard such a call easily.Here is the advantage! NONE of your new "ghost numbers" are real. This means they all are DISCARDABLE: drop/replace any time if you get too much unwanted calls to it, and still be in touch for priority calls. And use powerful Google filter to screen out the call, block the known "bad" numbers, along with some other useful tricks.Here is how the multilevel system works:- Give the "voicemailed" numbers when you don't care to miss the call.- Use forwarded numbers to register with bank, IRS, job board or for any other purposes when you don't want to miss the call. If you need to call "from" this number, use Skype and set Caller ID to number you need to be displayed at the moment.- Add telemarketers to Google voice filters - screen the *******s out!- When you get too many "bad" calls with now ID and still have some no-ID calls you need to catch, c****e your "*****" forwarded number to voicemail-only, get yourself a fresh one and update your registered number where you feel it worth doing so.It takes some time to set up and get used, but after you done (like me), you have much more power over the calls you received than you ever thought of. I got a call from this number this morning. The caller ID said Salt Lake City, UT. I'm also on the National Do Not Call List and I'm beginning to think it's a scam as well because since I registered my number, I'm getting far more calls than I did before it was registered. This getting really irritating. Luckily, I blocked them, but the phone still rings once before it's recognized and stops the call.

looking for someone but since i was the person they were looking for, they quickly ***g up. : tried to get name and phone number, but he didn't give me a chance to ask. these people call 4-5 times a day! please stop the calls and i'm also on the Do Not Call list.

Our company is receiving several calls a day from this phone number on our 3rd roll over line as a direct call to that phone number. We never answer hoping their computer will get the hint and quit calling.

I really think that the "Do Not Call" list is part of a scam. Think about it. The "Do Not Call" has our phone numbers in the first place. It really doesn't work and I'm getting all kinds of  unwanted phone calls...thank God for the Caller ID.

(one's as annoying as the next...am I right?)I dont bank with Bank Of America so not sure why/how/who/when/etc...I too called them back to ask them to remove my number from their calling list.  The rep lethargically asked for my number.  I gladly provided hoping she/they  would comply with my request.  She indicated it could take up to 48hrs...they were setting it for removal in their system.  We shall see....

I agree with Peachie.  They can call whenever they want, but I won't be answeing.  I, too, am on the "Do Not Call" list, but somehow get calls from telemarketers all the time.  Thank God for caller ID.  I don't know who this "te*****formance" is, but I wish they'd leave me alone!

This number was on my caller ID this morning. No message left and good to see it is a telemarketer. Whatever happened to the "Do not call" list that we are all on??? These creeps are getting around that aren't they?? I sure hope that this number doesn't pop up often like it is for all of you!! I do know that American Express is based out of SLC, Utah and am wondering if this is a marketing call from them?? ((I am in good standing with AMEX, so I am good there))

I got a call from the number 801-297-7811 this morning from SLC, Utah.   I am in Atlanta Georgia.   I did not answer, but saw it on my caller ID.   It is good to know what this number is.   What happened to the "Do not call" list??  Anyone know how these guys are getting around this???  I won't be answering this number, and they can keep calling till the cows come home, and they get tired and move on to their next victim.

this number calls about5 times a day, when you answer  you are put on hold, and then after about 30 secondsyou get disconnected.  I am disquested that a person or conpany call call, probably via an automated system, then ****up.I  got a call todaY, FINALLY SOMEONE WAS TALKING, AND AFTER I TOLD THEM I AM TIRED OF ANSWERING THE PHONE, AND THEN GETTING DISCONNECTED, THEY ***GUP A***N. We got a call too, we recently stayed in a hotel near this area code.  When I googled the caller ID of "te*****formance" it seemed to be a customer service type follow up.
