This number came up on the caller ID as Norris, Hyeryun.  I HOPE it is not a scam.  I did request to have them mail me out so****ing and they verified my address.  Hopw the UT FOP is legit.

Respect is a different story when there calling people that can't even afford to live hardly while they have nice wages/salaries and asking the poor to give them charity. And going down a list of peoples phone numbers they don't even know how they are living. Respect takes two not just one. Just because they risk there life's to protect don't give them the right to break laws like extorting money when there is a lot more needy people out there worse off then them and I don't mean all of them do this some don't even have a idea they are doing this. They should be raising money for people more in need then them. They should be grateful they even have a job right now, a lot of people right now have it ruff and trying so hard to live its sad.I get these calls all the time I have picked up them asking me if I can donate, I would love to if I had the money I can hardly pay my rent or have food on my table.If people got better wages heck I would so give you a donation.

You know what, you behave as though these police officers needing donations are a pain in your side but I guarantee when you need help the police will be the ones you call to come defend you and help you out. Maybe you should be nice and show some respect to the men and women that leave their families everyday to go protect you and the rest of the nation.

I am flooded with phone calls from “Frat Ord Police”This is harassment and an attempt to extort money!I am already paying for your salary, heath care, retirement, union dues, vacation, holidays and now you want me to pay to charities for you – forget it!You want to be charitable-pay the money you earned.If you don’t like your income and benefits – quit this job!Police is supposed to “protect and serve” not extort money.

The "Fraternal Order of Police" have another number or a new number from the other complaints of the same group(4116).  IF they were police at some point, wouldn't they realize that phone scams are a very big problem and that if they truly want donations to have more trained/experienced callers or just don't do cold calls?  My number IS unlisted, so are they using a computer system to just cold call every possible number?  Charities should be included in the do not call list!!  With scams everywhere today you'd be crazy to donate over the phone when THEY call you out of the blue.  Don't donate unless you knowingly contact them yourself.

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Utah Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.utahfop.com  . Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Utah police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.
