Leave a Commentabsolutely true. i also work for a telemarketing agency. trust me. we do not like calling ****ed off customers. i try to offer the dnc list to people who are angered, but the 30 day removal period is imperative. best bet is to move your banking to a local bank instead of wells fargo or boa.
Be very careful when they call you, I s****ed getting billed for this on my mortgage statement and called to find out who or what they were. They told me I signed up for it and BOA transfered me to them. HHP then xfered me to their 3rd party contractor who could tell me who signed up for this. They in turn had me down with a different address/dob so basically they were billing my account but were protecting someone totally different. The rep could not do anything about it but refer it to her supervisor I am fixing to call bank of america back to cancel this mess. PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR MORTGAGE BILL!!!THEY COULD BE SCAMMING YOU TOO
just to let you know i actually work for one of those 3rd party companies always calling people and health protector plus is what i sale. The do not call list works to a point. Yes it does take up to 30 days but there is a catch. Any business transaction with the bank such as deposit withdrawal or anything in last 18 months actually puts you back on the calling list. So the only true way to avoid any calls like that is actually not****ociating with the banks thats your only way.
I had been recieving calls from BOA (bank of america) last week i picked up and it was Health Protector Plus. I told them i did not want Health insurance through them i already have some. Today i opened a piece of mail from BOA to find out i was in overdraft because Health Protector Plus had charged my account 30 bucks plus another 35 BOA charged me for going into overdraft. I have been on he phone now for 45 minutes *****ing and screaming and i cannot get anything done.. Everyone i speak to transfers me to someone else..BOA can **** me!
This number calls me several times a day. I answered today, and they asked for my husband. I told them to take me off their call list. This company is really Health Protector Plus (1-888-665-9900) and they are a preferred Bank of America 3rd party vendor. If you have an account with Countrywide, Wells Fargo, or Bank of America, then your name and telephone number was sold by Bank Of America to their 3rd party marketing preferred vendors. Even if you are on the do not call list, that request is overridden since you have an account with BOA. Call Bank of America Customer Service at 1-800-669-6607 or 1-800-285-6000 (you will need your account number) and request to be taken off the Bank of America 3rd party telemarketing list. Be ready for a headache and be prepared to be on the phone for a while. I was transferred 4 times before I was given to someone who "knew" what they were doing. The lady I spoke with today (Heidi) said it would take 30 days to take my name off the list. (what a bunch of crock!!). Good luck!! I am ready for the 5-6 call I receive a day from this company (and any future BOA telemarketer) to stop!
My caller ID shows COUNTRYWIDE but when I call the number back the message states:"WELLS FARGO we've recently tried to contact you with a special promotion..."
My caller ID says COUNTRYWIDE and they've called 6 days straight. They **** up when you answer
calls ****s up when you answer, 5 calls in 2 days.
calls ****s up when you answer, got about 30 calls same pattern over the last month or so
Keeps calling and leaves no message
