Leave a CommentI received an automated call on my cell phone from an unknown source. I didn't answer because I didn't know the number. I am really disgusted that stuff like this can happen.
I have found on Google search this number shows up as belonging to one Patrick McCall, 4591 Porter Ave, South Ogden UT 84403. From an earlier number, I had been receiving calls that claim that my warranty on my car is up, I should purchase another warranty. I told previous caller number I wanted to be taken off their call list. I then received a call from (I suspect Patrick or maybe that's just another ruse) who is working for this same scam about warranties. I said I'd already requested to be taken off their call list, was on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST and why was I still receiving calls, and WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THIS COMPANY?. I repeated WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR COMPANY? several times. He would not give me a company name and ***g up on *****is is an obvious scam.
Received a call from this number about 3 hours ago. Didn't leave a message and when I called back, the operator said the number has been disconnected.
