Catfishing-said they texted the wrong number.
Their employee put a number wrong in their phone
states they are sending me an invoice for $489.00 due on receipt, and wants me to pay it through paypal. I didnt buy anything.

Got the same call from 4 different numbers saying my SSA # was detected in su****ious activity. All the calls were automated and word-for-word identical. Seems like a scam.
Called saying my SSA number was cited for su****ious and fraudulent activity and would be connected with criminal activity if I don’t call back. Sounded like an automated call. Seems like the fear-****ering type of call scammers make, but want to check just in case. Would the actual SSA make this kind of call?
