my caller id read: Burlington VT. I let the phone ring 4 times. I picked-up, saying nothing. I counted to three and then ***g-up. If I had said 'hello', then I would have validated (to the caller) that the number they dialed was a good, viable phone number. Best thing to do is say nothing. Let the phone ring and ring.

Yes, I received a call from this number. It shows up on the caller id as ANSWER. ***ody leaves a message.

Another blog said to either call back or call 866-246-7196. I did and it worked to stop the phone calls :)

Called my cell phone twice, did not recognize AC, so I rejected the call. Checked this site, and see that that number has a Spammer Score of 100%, so I will add the number to my phone's Rejected Callers List. End of that.

This robocall comes from a company called Guru2 - I believe they are in Tampa FL. Their website is data-guru.net. The manager (owner?) is named Jay. They called me about a home security system. Jay can be reached at 561-400-0867. If you call him, he will be HAPPY to personally remove your number from their do not call list. Thanks, Jay! PS you may also want to file a complaint with the fcc at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints

I s****ed getting these alarm system companies calls (from several different numbers) about 6 months ago....2~3~4~5 times a day As retired older gentleman, I am somewhat of a JOKESTER, (and on the DO NOT CALL list) I now answer the phone, follow their prompts to speak to someone and after they greet me I say...... "State of Georgia information, How may I help you....." They immediately **** up... Since s****ing this spiel, I haven't gotten a second call from the same number yet and they are slowing to about 1 call every couple of weeks now

Home security..,

Not knowing who it was that called, I called back and nothing happened. Then after a bunch of searches and phone calls I found someone at 866-246-7196. They said they'd fix the automated do not call option on the call back and remove my phone number from all (their) client's callers list to stop those phone calls.
