I get this number calling me all the time when I call back it says disconnected
I get this number calling me all the time when I call back it says disconnected
Came through as Vermont and since I don't know anyone from there I ignored it. I also get calls from****-479-8874 and 702-520-1465 lately, the same warrenty people. These are all on my cell phone. I looked at the FCC site and you can only complain about telemarketers 31 days after registering your number - but I thought you didn't have to register cell phones. I emailed the FCC and got a form response that yes, cell phones don't have to be registered but you can, and yes, you can only complain 31 days after registering. You'd think they'd allow cell phone users to complain without registering but no. So I'm registering my cell phone and going to complain next month.
Call comes through as "Vermont Call". When I answer, it disconnects.
Missed their call, when i called back no one picked up the phone.
Same as J. Said my car's warranty was expiring and press 1 to talk to a specialist. Since my car was a hand me down from the in-laws I figured it was a scam of some sort and ***g up.
I recieved a call from this number. A rocording says your factory warranty is about to expire, press 1 to talk to a warranty specialist. I hit 1, the phone rings about 15 times and am greeted with: Hi this is nicole, give me your year, make, and model of your vehicle. I gave them 1988 and was ***g up on before I could finish. I would guess this place is a complete scam as a callback says the number is disconnected.
Phone rung once. Called back and said "All circuit are busy now, please try to call back later."
No one picks up the call........
Some automated call--a recording came on and I ***g up immediately.
got the phone call too.you guys are idiots. J Gallant is not making the phone calls. There are simple ways to s**** the CALLER ID on cell phones. That is what these companies too. THey just simply happen to be s****ing this poor guys #.Leave J Gallant alone.
just received a call form the samw number around 12:47 pm, and i was wondering who is calling me, that when i decided to google it and was shocked.why are they looking for by calling my number. please help me.
I got a call this morning and they ***g up. I tried calling it back and it will not connect the call.
Got this call today but didn't have time to answer, this is not how i want to spend my day.I had my guys in the IT dept track it for me and they came up with this:J Gallant (802) 763-2141 1436 Dairy Hill Rd,South Royalton, VT 05068 If any you you other people want to go track this person down, more power to you1
I have gotten several calls from this number. I never answer due to not knowing the number. But i finally got aggravated and called it back. It just keeps telling me the call can not be completed at this time to try a***n later!
I received a call from this number today as well (9:23 am est) and filed a complaint through the FCC as suggested by Jack. I've been receiving similar messages to the ones everyone else is describing here about the factory warranty on my car expiring, second notice, etc. This seems to be the same deal although they did not leave a message after I didn't pick up.
I have made a formal complaint with the FCC!!
I've been getting calls on my cell phone for a few months now about extending a car warranty (on a 17 year old car i never use anymore since i commute by bike and metro now).. usually different numbers, mostly with 989, 918, 702 or 818 area codes, and ALWAYS s****ed so when you try to call back it's disconnected. when looking up the number online, it's a residential number. so now the credit card scheme s****ed with this number today. this is getting extremely old. i am keeping a whistle nearby so the next a**hole that calls using this scheme will hopefully lose an eardrum.
Just received this call this morning. They said the same stuff about it being my second notice about my factory warranty expiring (I never received a first!) Followed the suggestion made by Jack and filed a complaint with the FCC. I tried pressing 2 to have my name removed from their file and the call disconnected. They called me on my cellphone which really bugs me. This sort of thing is becoming too frequent.
Around 11:15 they called me for the 3rd time....I live in Clevland,Oh and im 15 so i have no idea why they would be calling me.I also tried calling back but once a***n it said tat number was TEMPORARILY DISCONNECTED!!!!1436 Dairy Hill Rd, South Royalton, VT <= THIS IS THE ADDRESS OF THE HOME OF W***VER KEEPS CALLING US.
I just received a call form this number and one last night from this number. I did not answer either call.
I have been receiving phone calls regarding my car warranty frequently for about the last month, I checked my warranty and it is not up for 2 more years so i have just ignored the phone calls, then today i received a phone call the 802.763.2141 regarding my credit card, wanting to lower my interest rate. I pressed one to speak to the operator and asked them what credit card it was regarding, she told me my Bank of America mastercard, I do not have a Bank of America master card, but i decided to play along for a bit, her next question was my account # and the last 4 of my social.... I ***g up on the call at that point and called Bank of Americas fraud dept... they told me that they did not know anything about it but that they would investigate the phone #....
I too just received a call from this number. I had no idea who it was and didn't answer but they never left a message. So I decided to look the number up and found this. Very helpful, thank you! I also found that the number belonged to a J. Gallant in South Royalton, VT. Next time they call I will pick up just so that they won't call a***n.
Great I get two calls from this number, first I answered. Second I missed thank goodness. I was in Europe so I'm slammed for a dollar each time whether I answer or not. Would love to get this guy in jail.

Important message to all those that have received a call from this number:The company making this call with an auto dialer is a known scam outfit. They s****ed a phone number of some victim in Vermont. The phone number 802-763-2141 is just another victim of these s***bags. I've don a lot of research of this company. Actually, there are several affiliated companies, owned by the same people, that try to scam innocent victims. One scam is about auto warranties. The other is about credit card debt relief. Their MO is the same. The use an auto dialer, and call thousands of random numbers. They have no regard to the do not call lists. Your demands or complaints are worthless. They will continue to call you. If they call about a car warranty, the message says so****ing as "This is the second notice on your extended vehicle warranty. Press one now to speak to a representative..." The message about credit debt mentions "This is Account Services. We are calling to lower your credit card debt. Press one now to speak to a representative..."Here are the details of these do***ebags:Car Warranty Scam:VP Marketing4501 Circle 75 ParkwaySuite #A-1225Atlanta GA 30339Credit Card Scam:Versadebt Corp.4501 Circle 75 ParkwaySuite #A-1225Atlanta GA 30339To the best of my knowledge, their phone number is 678-238-1300 or 678-238-1351. Both companies are listed with the Georgia Department of State. Here is how you can lookup their information: http://corp.sos.state.ga.us/corp/soskb/CSearch.aspYou will find that the "Registered Agent" for VP Marketing is Kelly Lonas, 224 Ripple Creek Drive, Marietta GA 30060. The listed "Member/Manager" is James A. Sc***nholz at the 4501 Circle 75 Parkway address.Versadebt's Registered Agent is the same James A. Sc***nholz at the 4501 Circle 75 Parkway address. There is one additional name listed for Versadebt. The listed CEO, CFO, and Secretary is named Marvin ***, Jr. at the same address. Here are some links to prove my research:Job listings for VP Marketing:http://www.careerbuilder.com/JobSeeker/Jobs/J ... NG6X1YG4MTQKT9Vhttp://www.careerbuilder.com/JobSeeker/Jobs/J ... marketing%22_at_Here are some details from RipOff Report:http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/312/RipOff0312307.htmhttp://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/301/ripoff0301144.htmAnd some additional details from whocalled.us:http://whocalled.us/profile/ChristineSNow, what can we do about this? YOU MUST REPORT THEM TO THE FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION!Here is the link to file a complaint: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htmI filed a complaint a***nst Versadebt last year, and received a letter from the FCC telling me that they are investigating! I am about to do the same for VP Marketing. If everyone that received a call from these low-life s***bags does the same, then the combined action of thousands of us can stop these crooks from scamming innocent people out of money. You may also try to write your congress person.
I am in New York and I just received a call by this number around 1 in the afternoon. I also tried to call back the number and god a message playing that the number is disconnected.
i get this call once in a while but am never around to get it, so i tryd calling it back buut it says it disconected. i dont know the number and i dont want to see it a***n
I rec two calls today but I make a habit of only answering numbers that are familiar to me. When I redialed the number it says the number is disconnected. Is this legal??
This morning I recieved my third call from this number with an automated message that "This is the second notice on your extended vehichle warrenty. Press one now to seak to a represen***ive, press two to be removed from this list." I don't even have a car and i knew it was some scam so I pressed one just to get some one on the line and rattle their cage. The guy answered and asked me to tell him the make and model of my car but i just demanded to know why I've gotten three second noticeses, I'm not a math major but it seems I'm on the fourth notice. He just tried to appologize and insisted that I give him the make and model of my car, I told him I don't own one and he ***g up. When the number is called now it's disconnected, phone scams are so irritateing.
