This number has called repeatedly today and ****s up when my answering ma****e picks up. If they were legit, they would leave a message for me to call back.

I get calls constantly from this phone number.  I did answer a couple of times but no one was there.  I tried calling the number back and got a real quick busy tone. My ID reads All Tell Caller and the number.

i recived 2 calls from this# i let the answering me****e pick up but they didnt leave a mesg. the caller id said it is a Alltel Caller.

i have the same problem they call say hey or*****o and **** up

I have received calls from 803-308-7402.  I say "hello" and the party on the other line says "hello" and ****s up.  This has happened 3 times in the last 24 hours.  I called AT&T customer service and they said that they upgraded their computer systems a few months ago, and when they did this, there was a glitch in the system and people who don't have accounts with AT&T are receiving bills and phone calls.  The supervisor at AT&T says their technical department is aware of it and trying to rectify the situation.  It is very frustrating when I have not had an account with AT&T for several years.

This number keeps calling us and ****ing up.  When they did speak with us they said that our AT&T bill was late.  We requested verification of when we c****ed to AT&T long distance.  They did not provide it and cut off our service.  We have received two calls this morning within a half of an hour.

Have received repeated phone calls from this number with no one speaking on the other end of the phone when it is answered.

just to follow up. I blocked the orginal number and now s****ed to get same annoying calls from 843-308-7870 same situation. BUT this time, automated or not, thinking someone will be on the other end. I said that's okay, I have already reported your number to the FCC and to my phone company and the other end ***g up IMMEDIATELY.I have filed another complaint with the FCC with the new number that called me.I highly suggest anyone else out there to file with the FCC every time or record the calls and phone numbers and file it with the FCC.  I am going to follow up with this with AT&T with a kind letter of harassment and it must stop.

Thanks Dan W.I went ahead and filed a complaint online. Also, I am on the phone now with my phone company and filing a complaint and having the number blocked. I also suggest others to do this because this is abuse through electrical and technical process. AND it is a***nst the law.Thanks Dan W. They said they were AT&T, and I have not had AT&T in years and years.  This is obviously a scam.  They call day and night.  Since when does AT&T call from a cell phone?  Riiiight.

Be careful what information about times you received the calls or how many times.This forum is for sure monitored by the same a** that is calling.Your calls can be counted and matched to the day, and number of calls.Your e mail address is exposed each time you leave a message here, now your telephone number can be matched with email address and reverse search ismade easy........... caution  there are no adds on this page ??????is it safe?

I just got a call from them. They called like 20 times today alone. The woman was very pleasant and said she was from AT&T .Guess I better pay my bill haha!!!!

We've been receiving phone calls from this number for several weeks now.  It is getting VERY annoying.  We never answer the phone - just check the caller ID.  These people are idiots if they think they are getting any info from us.It's obvious that it is a scam.  Somebody tear out their phones, PLEASE!

This is an obvious scam. Phone providers *do not* call to bully their customers about late payments. They simply cut folks off after a time. Then they refer the unpaid bill to a collection agency.A legitimate collection agency would not identify itself as "AT&T" or whatever. In fact, most of them are reluctant to even mention they are a collection agency. The often want to talk to you about "...an important personal matter..." and they leave an 800 callback number and case number, etc. They just keep trying to get you on the line 'live' so they can go to work and try to scare the***** out of you, using various direct threats and other fear exploitation tactics ('emotional extortion') to collect payments.Never, ever, *ever* give credit card info to anyone who just called *you*. Only give out that info if *you* initiated the call and if you are sure you know who you are talking to.

They have been calling me everyday this week, 4 and five times a day. I told them that I am on the do not call registry and if they called a***n, I would report them to the FCC. That was yes****ay.  Nothing seems to stop these guys from calling.  We don't even have an AT&T account.  They s**** calling at 7:45amand just keep calling all day long.

they called my home twice this morning. said they were AT&T. I did a reverse search on the number, it is coming from Orangeburg, SC. I really hate these types of phone calls!!

I am so sick of all the nonsense calls that interupt my day with my young child! We don't answer them but they keep trying to call anyway and you can not block the calls.

Called 4 times today alone and refuses to stop calling. Clearly a telemarketing and/or phishing scam. Claims to be AT&T which I don't even have. Politeness, ****ing up, telling same foreign Indian man I am on the do-not-call list does nothing. Keeps on calling anyway. Did a google search and found numerous complaints, all with same EXACT details as me.

I have told these people "Staop Calling me!!" They keep on calling even though I told them not to call anymore.

they called over and over for a few weeks, we hardly anwser. finally i anwsered today. A woman asked for the head of house hold. She did not identify herself by name, only that she was with at&t. She said she was calling in regaurds to my at&t phone bill. I do not have at&t. I told her this # she called from, 1-803-308-7402  listes as "cellphone SC" on our caller id, was on the internet as a fradulent number for one.2, i dont have at&t, 3 to put me on the do not call list and stop calling. she ***g up on me, hopefully thew will stop calling.

I s****ed receiving calls from this number and also from 843-308-7870.  Both numbers have been identified as AT & T by others on this website. I tend to believe it is AT*T because we just purchased iphones and AT&t is the only carrier to use for it so we switched to AT&T in FEB. We never rec'd calls from these numbers until now.  They **** up and don't leave messages like all the other tele-marketers.   Where do I complain for this?  I'm happy with my phone but not with AT&T if they're going to call and annoy me!

The folks at this number has clled numerous times this week, oriental accent, and ask for the owner of this phone. They said they were AT&T, I don't believe them. I see a lot of complaints of this number, it's a scam...

Caller ID: (803) 308 7402 Cell phone SCCalled it back and said it was not a working number called 3 times today

This number showed on my caller id today beginning at 5:45 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. in increments of 15 minutes.  I called the number twice to try to see who was calling and I got a recording that the number I was calling was not a working number.  The number 843-308-7870; however, is a credit number for AT&T (collection).

We received calls from this number 4 times today while at work today. Finally it rang while we were home and it turned out to be AT&T. We were 3 days past due on our bill. It might be real, but we had mailed our check less than a week ago and I was a little worried. The caller wanted for us to pay by credit card but as we have not been late before we asked that they wait until the check arrived. The caller became quite beligerant which made us wonder if this might be a scam to get our VISA number. We instructed the caller that we would take our chances on disconnection and if they would disconnect for a first time late check on a bill of under $100 we would find another carrier. We'll see what happens.

this number has called everyday for the past 2 months around 3-4 timesa day but this week theyve called around 8 times a dayeverytime they call the ask for (leo studebaker) so i told them the last time that no we dont sell studebakers we are a dodge dealer... there lucky we cant reach thru phones or im nto sure what i would do to them...

803-308-7402 has called my home 8-10 times per day for the lst 2 weeks. I do not answer unidentified calls. I let my 21 yr old son answer just to see what it was. They said they were AT&T and if I was not available they would call back and ***g up.

I have gotten calls from 803-308-7402 for the past week. My husband talked with the man today. He said he was with At&t, then asked for are home address.
