Same thing matched on tinder and wanted 3000 dollars to replace a computer or they was going to the police. Said, they was 19 then stated later to be 16 and if you didn't pay them they was going to the police.. and used extortion to try to get what they wanted. Shouldn't be under age if anyone is on tinder anyways.. need to be like onlyfans where you have to upload and have your ID scanned

Matched on tinder with someone who said they were 22 and wanted to text. Next day I get a text from a person claiming if I “value my freedom to call them and talk man to man before they call the law” over their minor… wasn’t 20 mins I get a text from this number as the person saying this is detective staull… if “ I value my freedom” I need to give them a call. Text book extortion scam
