Showed up on my ID as SCTRP - wasn't home when they called & no message on ma****e - first time I have seen this one -

I continue to get calls from this number.  I will get 2 to 5 calls a day.  They will leave no messages but use up my entire tape on the aswering ma****e.  The only time anyone said anything, they asked for me by my first name.  I said can I take a message and they ***g up on me.  It sure sounded like a call center to me.  How can I find out who they are and what they want.  I do not give information out over the phone. I do not owe any money.Help!

Asked to speak with the business owner.  It sounded like a phone center in the background.

If this company calls you, refuse to answer questions until they give the call sign.The call sign goes like this, "Life is a highway, I want to ride it all night long."

Why is Medallion calling here? I don't want a medallion.Aren't those things used to conjure up Satan or at least a relative?

I also received a call on April 1, 2008.  I did not answer.  It does not show up in reverse phone lookup directories, nor does it show up as a business in South Carolina even with the area code 803.  It might be some type of political poll calling, alumni group, fundraiser, or someone offering some type of service or product.  I'm not sure.  They did not leave a message.  I have a telemarketer blocking service on my phone through the phone company, but they still get through sometimes.  I've paid all my bills, so it can't be a bill collector (although I have received collection notices previously for people that don't live here and I don't know).  Do you have your phone number listed online on a website or job board?  That might be how they are getting it.  If so, remove it.  Finally, just don't answer it.  If it is important, they will leave a message for you.

Continues to call. Asks for person by last name, then when says nothing else when conversation is attempted.  Is this a burgler trying to see if someone is home?

Medallion shows on my caller ID ?

Numberous calls the last few days.  I refuse to answer.
