calls every day bill

very little money these guys raise actually goes to the police.  This is a scam.  a few years back they actually called and bullied my elderly frail mother into making her donate.  I have no respect for these people.

Ted, that is no excuse for the repeated harassing phone calls despite repeated requests for removal. Some guy named Brian had the gall to **** up on me tonight - I could even say anything more than "Brian...". Used some hokey line "don't worry, you're not in trouble". Well, he's in trouble. Filed a complaint with the FTC and BBB (links below). Sent a letter to the current President, and called the head of the organization at his house right after I get my late night call (I did, he was very polite and promised to have my number removed). Don't let these guys purporting to represent our tax-payer funded police officers call your house and act in a manner that is unbecoming of any public figure! If you want to raise money, you need to do it in an ethical manner, and that never involves ****ing up on someone who hasn't said anything yet. I actually have contributed in the past, but right now money is tight, and I'm not going to take food off my table for a charity - sorry, but that is how it works, and you should respect that. I already fund the police through taxes, so if you're going to ask me to donate more, you need to be polite and treat me and my family with respect.
