they’re a scam! they pray on lost pets and try to get money out of the owners! be aware!

Received a message that their neighbor had my lost dog. Was very hopeful as it was the most legitimate sounding text of the many scammers we had. After seeing the other comment about scamming a lost cat, my hopes are **** down.

They texted me that a neighbor has my lost cat and after talking would not give any info but asked for me to pay half of what they gave their neighbor ($30) in exc****e for information. When offered cash in person to meet up and called out as a****ential scammer, they stopped responding
