has called 5 times between 9am and 2pm - and this is Sunday. calls every day for at least a month - 4-5 times a day.
Calls at least 4 times a day for the past 3 weeks. I put them on my blocked calls list, so my phone rings just once, but does ID the caller. Must be an automatic dialer.
Calls at least 4 times a day for the past 3 weeks.
This number has called at least 3 times a day for the past week. I don't answer unfamiliar numbers, and they don't leave a message - all they do is use up my caller ID space.
This number has called me 6 times in the past 3 hours. No message is left and no one is there when you answer.
This number appears on my phone between 9AM - 9PM 7 days a week and about 14 times a day. Why? Not a clue... I have nothing with Citi. Possibly trying to get us to sign up for my options they have?
Calls to my home about 3-4 times daily, sounds and typing int he background and then hangs up.
Since Feb 15 2010 they have called me 108 times
Not really too sure why I am being called. I set up automatic billing, and after I had about 15 dollars left on my bill they stopped billing my account. These people are evil and should be reported for their foul practices and horrible calling procedures, especially for $15.00.
They call day and night while I'm either at work or sleeping and NEVER, EVER leave a message as to who they are, where they are calling from and what they want.
Calling my job continuisly, disrupting my office.
Calls twice a day, everyday. No one is on line when answered.
They call about 5 times per hour on my cell phone.
stop call my cell
has called my number 30+ times over the last few days and no one is ever there when I answer
they hang up when I answer
repeatedly calls and hangs up when i answer.
calls 3 or 4 times a day not one ever answers the phone
keep calling my cell phone for no reason... no one is on the phone when answered...
they call at least 5 time every day starting at 8 am
Unable to identify why they are calling and then ask you to call a separate 800 number
Constant calls even after I sent them correspondence.
Calls at least 2-3 times a day, doesn't leave a message, when you answer they say please hold and then it disconnects.
I answered the phone at about 1005. I told them I had filed a complaint with "Do not call" registry and did they want me to do it again. The number they were calling is unlisted and not given to them by us. The phone went "click."
calls atleast two times a day, no one on other end
Our home phone number is unlisted and was never given to this caller because of needed privacy. If they keep calling I may again change the number. No one answered when the phone was picked up. However, I informed them that number was listed with National Registery and not to call it again.
THEY HAVE CALLED MY PHONE 5 TIMES TODAY.I DON'T NO WHY. STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!!
they've been advised to stop calling or i will seek legal action. they keep caling. my lawyer will be the next voice they hear.
I'm working with this company and even they can't figure out why this number keeps calling my husbands cell number. I have asked them different times now not to call that number call the home phone number instead they call the home number and then hang up and call my husbands cell number and it is getting to be a real pain! they have get to stop calling that number.
have asked them more that once to stop calling my cell phone because I don't have a the time when I'm at work to answer them especially when I'm hanging up duct or in a crawl space doing work. I really wish they would stop and call the home phone number
This number has called nine times in the past three days. No message has ever been left.
Keep calling and when I answer, there is no one there. Have tried to call this nmber back, and it states, "all agents are currently busy, please hold for the next avaiable rep." I have tried later in the evening, and I get a precorded message, with no identification of the company or who the number belongs to, states that the corporate office is closed, and you will have to call back at another time. who over is calling from this number, calls about every 30-45 min. and the same number keeps coming up on the phone. I have even tried to take the phone off of the hook, and as soon as I put it back on, "BOOM", it rang, and there was that number again.
Continously calls, but never leaves a message. When trying to call the number back, put on hold, but there is no title with the number that I call. It just states, to please hold. They will call a least 4-5 times a day.
Will call and ask for a name of person thats not here then hangs up , but will call back in a few min then will hang up when the phone is picked up
We get as many as 10 calls a day from this number. There is never anyone there when we answer, just a recording asking us to hold. From the complaints listed below, I guess it is Citi or someone pretending to be Citi. We have never had accounts with them and have had this phone number for years. They call at all times of the day and night. This has to be illegal.
THEY CALL EVERY DAY AT LEAST 5 TIMES, IT IS ANNOYING. THEY NEED TO STOP.
3 times received a call from this unknown, no message left
Same as other complains, calling our business every day.
Multiple calls to my work phone #. When I pick up, it's just a recording.
Keeps calling my cell and does not leave messages. Answered once and a man asked for a different name. I told him that there was no one here by that name but he continues to call several times a day any ways.
Regardless of what I tell them, the continuously call. Can be up to 10 times a day. I was told they can't tell their computers to stop calling my phone. I have even had my attorney call them.
Constantly calling, and I have no affiliation with this company.
i didn't answer just and they don't leave a message...calling more and more.....a
Citi has called my wife's cell phone again. They told me the number would be removed from their computor and we would not receive any more calls. THAT WAS A LIE. We still do not have an account or loan with Citi Financial and we still don't know the person who they are trying to reach. When I called them again to get this taken care of, once again they gave me a run around and put me on hold for an eternity. Then transferred me to a manager (John King), only to get his voice mail. I left him a message and he never called me back. I will file another complaint with the Fed. Trade Comm.
Unsolicited call after hours
They call the all the time. This is a hospital some long recording. I wish they would stop! It does not even say who the phone call is for!
The Number is for Citi Bank. They keep calling my wife's cell phone, looking for someone else. We have told them the person they are looking for is not at this number. But yet they continue to call. They said they would remove the number from their list, but they said it would take 24 hours.
They call 20+ times a day.
Calls multiple times a day. Rarely leaves a message.
I suggest getting a silent ringtone.
Call frequently leave on messages
I have no overdue accounts with them yet they continue to bother me.
calls every 15 mins
The call me on an average of 14 times a day regarding a RTG account. I requested for them to stop calling and only use written correspondance, they laugh at me and hang up! I thought there were laws that are put into place to stop this type of abuse?
they call but no one answers the freeking phone
I have an attorney working on trying to get CitiFinancial to work with me due to a setback in my family situation. They have called my employer even though they've been told to contact the attorney and are threatening to garnish my wages. These people will NOT work with you when there is a problem. They only want you to borrow more money on top of what you can't afford now. They will also resort to using their cell phones to call so you will not know it is them.
This is a law firm. The number above is Citi Financial. We finally took the number off caller ID. When they call we receive a recorded message that states to hold the line for a very important message from Citi Financial. Then the line goes dead. So we called the number today and was told that until we get more information on the call they couldn't guarantee the calls would stop. HOW DO YOU GET INFORMATION FROM A RECORDING? I informed her to discuss this with someone higher up, give them our number and remove it from their call list regardless of why they are calling. If it is something we need to look in to to write us a letter. We'll see how this goes but I have feeling it's not going to go well for Citi Financial.
The operator stated she wanted me to pay the bill over the phone and wanted personal information. I felt it was invasive and thought she should have all my info if I had taken a loan with them. I asked her for their website and they said it is not set up. Seems suspicious. I got another call and we hung up. No more calls after asking their employee number and their social security number. DO NOT GIVE any personal info - none. We need to be careful from crazy 'supposed' Citibank.....
Called my cell phone!
Calls every 1.5 hrs very annoying
They are looking for a family member that they say used our phone # as their contact #. They are going to TRY to remove my # from their record but would like another # to replace it. I refused so they are going to see if they can help me. The customer service # they gave me doesn't work unless you actually have an account or are willing to give your SS#.
This is a debt collector for Citi...They called me several times and I don't even have any sort of account with them. I called them back and the lady I talked to looked up my social security number and said that they are mistakenly dialing the wrong number. Pests!
3 calls/day for the last 3 months... you do the math.
If you don't answer, sometimes a voicemsg is left regarding CitiFinancial mumbo-jumbo. If you answer you get automatic msg, or hang-up, OR a person asking for some random name. They can be rude and being rude back doesn't resolve anything.
I gave them my work phone for refferrence. They hace my cell.
I signed a payment agreement with them on the grounds that they would remove my work phone from their records.
They promised they would. They screwed up my account and want me to fix it.
After making payment arrangements with them they continue to cal you on all number back to back. Even if you are paying on time.
I have confirmed with several of the agents that it is an automatic dialer they see the notes of my payment arranfements but they continue to call.
I am doing research now to sue.
constantly calling up until nine o clock at night
They call two to three times a day and when you answer they hang up on you.
Have received 8 calls from them over the past few weeks on my voicemail. No message left just silence.
Call several times, never anyone on the other end!
Tons to calls to my cell #. I do not answer but googled the # and found out I am not alone. MAKE IT STOP
I missed the first payment and the first time citibank called I made the payment right then over the phone. Since then, in 2 weeks they have called me over 30 times. Each time it's either a recording that hangs up on me, or a person who says "oh, sorry, the computer shouldn't have called you". I called to complain and they admitted having problems with the auto-dial system, but told me they couldn't do anything about it.
calls at all hours of the day and night
Sure-you need to hang up real fast! Afraid you are being recorded for the Attorney General.
The more you call the more evidence we have against you.
Calls 15 times a day,a pick up is a hold recording and never does anyone pick up~
calls every day wanting one of our employees
Calls my cell every morning and when I answer hangs up. If I do not answer iot goes into voice mail with no message. An absolute pest.
Unwanted caller including my cell phone. A Pest.
I've gotten mutiple calls from this number 803-835-5600 but they never leave a message. When I do pick up they are never there!!
This is the 3rd web site that is reporting the same phone calls from the same number. It's either a collections company or a scam. They call my cell but are never there when I do pick up. Normally it stops ringing after 4 or 5 rings.
this number keeps calling me 3-4 times a day, and they leave no message.....
THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING ME AND I AM NOT SURE WHY. THEY ARE IDIOTS. I DON'T WANT A LOAN WITH 30% INTEREST RATE. THEY CAN TAKE THAT ELSEWHERE.
Call made to my cell phone 2 to 3 times a day everyday and leaves a voice message which is half overridden by voice mail. Need them to stop calling. I told them I was not interested and not to call my cell again.
We are getting multiple calls from this number we believe is CitiFinancial. We do not have any loans of any type and have reported to the Federal "Do not call list" as violators to no avail.
called me 9 times today...averaging about 80 minutes between calls. I only get half a message and the half I get does not tell who they are...they are calling my cell phone!!! Using minutes up every 80 mins. Isn't there some kind of rule about how many times a day companies can call you???
I've gotten mutiple calls from this number 803-835-5600 but they never leave a message.
just annoying clicking of of a computer, I called it back once, but all I got was "city". what does that mean? calls two or three times a day
They call day and night. Today they have called like 10 times. They also call to my mom's house. She and my dad told to them that we just don't live there. I got married 2 years ago and I don't live with them since. They're calling form my husband to my parent's house every hour possible. Tuesday, some guy with Argentinian accent called them. Why they don't leave messages on answering machines. They should know they're doing something illegal.
This number called me and called me. Most of the time when these people call they leave me a voicemail, including a name and number where to reach them at. This number did not, which really drew red flags with me. I have had a problem with CitiBank so it would not surprise me if this was them.
I get the call and I am reviewing the caller ID it hangs up/ Three times today. Who is this call originating from?
These people - NCO Financial Inc. - are some of the WORST in the collections industry. They are rude, and will hound you day * night, through home phones, cell phones, employer phones, relatives' phones, and even through TOTAL STRANGERS... whom THEY believe MIGHT be related to you. They search places like Veromi.net that lists your name and location and POTENTIAL relatives, - then use information obtained this way to track you down as if you were an animal! Yes, they ARE heartless thugs whose ONLY concern is how many dollars they can get you to pay - because it directly affects the number of dollars the agents get in THEIR pockets. Here is some of the BEST information I have located on this company... at a website of a man who has been in the credit business for over 25 years. Check it out and let him help you if you need it. Go to: http://www.budhibbs.comThere is a LOT of great information at that site, and he DOES answer his email promptly should you choose to contact him directly. As for the LIARS, and/or other rude, unprofessional people hired by NCO, Citibank, and similar companies to attempt to collect monies from you.... just ignore them. Turn off your ringer; Don't answer calls from restricted or unfamiliar numbers; Let your voice mail answer it, or when Caller ID shows "Unknown Caller", - tell them they have reached an unknown person, and when they figure out WHO they are and where they are calling from, etc., - that perhaps you might be able to remember who YOU are. :)(Sorry, - but I just can't stand these types of liars who pretend to be a long lost buddy until they know they have you on the phone and then they start in on you as if you had murdered Mother Theresa or something.... telling you you are scum or a deadbeat, -- then threatening you with jail and/or lawsuits if you do not pay them immediately, etc.! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!Either way - DO NOT talk to them, pay them, or give them ANY information UNTIL AFTER you have gone to the web site of www.budhibbs.com.He will lead you in the RIGHT direction... and is a NICE man to boot! :0Good luck, and God Bless,- Sarah Jones
I returned these calls several times and all they wanted to do was varify mine or my husbands social security numbers, sounds like some sort of scam, I am also on the no call list, when speaking to their rep, she told me to go ahead and report these calls she was almost threatening me to do so, I granted her threat...keep calling and I will grant your wish everytime....
This number belongs to CITIFINANCIAL. They keep calling you a hundred times even if you are a minute past due date. Never ever deal with CITIFINANCIAL or anything under their brand name. To pay the amount due, we have to pay $15 as transaction fees. In their own words - you have the option to pay $15 as transaction fee or pay $39 as late charge fees. By the way they call $15 as courtesy fees and thats a big joke. Never ever go with no interest equal monthly payment option. You may or may not receive your first month bill but for sure you will receive your second month bill with late charge fees of $39. They are trying to recover the $20 billion mortgage write off by all means. They are already in mud and digging themselves deep further with such a nasty customer service. Blame it on the government too, they are the first to rescue these banks.
Having the same problem as every one else, it some kind of a game to the person on the other end of the line when you do get some to talk to they are rude and very nasty telling you to pay your bill or they wouldn,t be calling,It they was a class action suit against these collection agency or who are they are they would stop.My identify was stolen and I had more problem then a little with these jack leg people.Try to explain to the them you did not create the bill and all you get is a lot of phone calling 2 or more every other hour. and How about some law firm calling Stokes and Clinton in Ala. other collecion agency who you cannot talk to a person they call after closing or during normal business hour our on hold for hours.
calls several times a day and doesnt leave a message. I wont answer it
I keep getting calls from them, despite 2 previous conversations to remove the number called(a work number). I will be requesting our legal team to file a cease and desist against them and sue them for harrrassment if they keep it up.
I also have been getting calls from this number. I let my computer handle their calls among a bunch of others. I use a FREE program called "CALL ALERT" and the it does require that your computer have a modem that handles Caller-ID information from the ohone company. The only draw back I have found with this program is that it will not work on phones that are VIOP like Vontage or via your local internet provider.I have been using this program for several years now and it works great. You will need to reboot your system once in a while and you must leave the program running in the back ground when you log off. Just tell your OS to switch users instead of logging off and it should work fine.
I have been getting repeated calls from this number. When I pick up, no one is there. I have read the comments linking this number to Citibank. I have an account but I am not past due. How do you make these calls stop? I signed up to have telemarketing calls blocked but I guess this doesn't fall under this because I do have an account with this company. I just wish someone would say something.
I got my 16 year old daughter a cell phone for her birthday and she continues to get calls from these people asking for a Maurice. It appears Maurice turned in his cell phone number and lucky us we got it. The continually call and ask for him and they hang up when we tell them they have the wrong number. Lucky me.
Someone from this number has been calling me at least 5 times per day...I see it on my caller id...I was finally at home on a Sunday evening and answered the call...he asked for me by name and when I told him I was speaking he said...okay you can disregard the call!
So far this morning, I have received three calls on my cell phone from this number. There is no one on the line, so I hang up. I called the number and the message thanks answers as 'Citi'. I have my mortgage with Citibank, but my account has never been past due. What's the deal?
Yes, they have called my home everyday for one week. 7 times in one night woke me out of my bed etc. I finnally got an agent and practically told her that I am going to report her to the "Do Not Call List" and sue their as*** Suddenly she cut me off sending me back the main line which in turn told me that their offices are closed. Then I had another thinking, are they scammers trying to dig the money out of people? EVERYONE BEWARE!!!
I feel like I am reading my own life here on this page. My husband is a contractor and was about a week late on his Home Depot payment. Funny...John was the same name my husband talked with and he was extremely rude and unforgiving. After my husband explained he was waiting for a check, John told him he should get off his "duff" and work instead of collecting unemployment...now this did NOT fly with my husband who for one works harder physically than anyone I know and second, he does NOT collect unemployment...he was waiting for a check from the homeowner he was roofing for. Let's just say...John had an earful and a hang-up. Next time they called I answered and told them a payment would be made in the next week...not to call back and told them to have a nice day before hanging up.I also have an bank account with Citibank...just a slush fund I started with a small amount direct deposited into it every payday...I have had someone from there calling for me as well...but on my cellphone...no debit with them.
The calls are never ending. Got one last night (Sunday) at about 8:20 pm. I thought they could not call that late. Mostly I get them3 -4 times a day home and cell phone. Yes I do owe some money to someone but it isn't the guy on the other end of the phone!
My wife received a call from these guys (NCO Financial/Credit) and they were at best belligerent. I have never dealt with someone so blatantly rude and demeaning. I stood there overhearing the entire conversation while my wife and I were fighting over the phone because we wanted to choke him. The first lady was quite pleasant so I will not divulge here name, but JOHN is the individual that needs training on professionalism. The initial intention of us answering this phone call (1 of 30+) was to settle a debt that was missed when I transferred from my previous command (I am in the military) and it caught up with us. We don’t usually miss this sort of thing, but this time we did, so we wanted to make it right. John then accused us of thinking that we were going to get away with it and made accusations that were simply hostile while looking for a rise out of my wife. Since we are human, unfortunately we gave in to the adolescence approach and proceeded to exchange less than mentionable terms. The matter was then resolved by the manager after several requests to get John off of the phone. I cannot believe that a company like Home Depot would allow their good name to be run through the gutter by an inhumane third party collector and their prehistoric tactics. They can pull your credit report for information, yet want to accuse you of trying to run. My credit report is not bad. I bought a house two years ago and this never showed on the report when applying for a mortgage. They can tell if you have a history of leaving and not paying. This is disturbing and I will not stand for it. Here is the skinney... Home Depot uses CITIBANK (www.citibank.com) to provide the financial services for their credit cards. Citibank uses a department called CITICARDS (www.citicards.com) to track their credit accounts with Home Depot. I contacted these guys and found an address where I could mail a written statement to file a complaint because they still do business with this company. They sold their accounts that are unpaid to a company called NCO Financial (the ones that call from 803 835-5600 and I found at https://www.efanniemae.com/sf/refmaterials/creditproviders/index.jsp?sort=N ). I am asking all of you that feel the same way that I do about this company to file a complaint to the institutions that employ people like this and encourage them to find someone more professional. I consider myself an upstanding citizen and I choose to treat people how I want to be treated. I will not compromise my morals or subject decent human beings to this lack of consideration. I am doing my part to keep Home Depot in the clear, but if they continue to do business with buffoons like this, I will boycott any institution that continues to employ businesses that are professionally ****. If you so desire to write a letter to complain, here is the address: CitiCards ATTN: IRU ManagementP.O. Got calls from this number for two months asking for Eva Spellman. I would wait on the line only to get hung up on. Today, 10/17/07, I waited and waited, and a girl picked up. She refused to provide an operator number, indicated the call center was in Albequerque New Mexico and said her manager was in a meeting. I googled the number and found this site. Reversephonedirectory.com indicated that the number was actually from Fort Hill South Carolina.I'm an attorney, and I'm **** off. I'm so glad I found this website. I'm weighing options, there's a potential Fair Debt Collections Practices Act action, there may be class action. I'm not sure if we can file a class action under the FDCPA, but I want a piece of their as*es.The company is ostensibly CitiBank. If Citi is doing it, we're gonna make money. If it's a bunch of scam artists, at the very least we can notify the South Carolina Attorney General, and CitiBank. CitiBank has an obligation to investigate. Moreover, CitiBank has had their systems hacked and financial and private information stolen in the past. If this is somehow related, we can still get money out of CitiBank.I'm a real lawyer: www.hoffnerfirm.com Don't call my office, but please e-mail me a real name and an e-mail address. I'm going to research the issue and have an answer within a week or two. But like I said, I want a piece of whoever is doing this.
I just got a call from this number and a machine tells me to wait for the next available agent. Hey I'm receiving the call why should I wait, I just hung up. It does not even say whos calling or what for.
