I keep getting calls from this number and I don't know who it is.

I got a few calls. Told them they had the wrong number. Each time they apologized and said that they would take me off of their list. Finally it seemed that they did. I got no calls for months. But, today I got two in a row. Very annoying. They can call til the cows come home and they aren't going to find who they are looking for. If they want to ignore me and keep wasting time, I don't care. I just let it go to voicemail.

l got calls everyday l know my credit es almost terfect l donot owe ***oby l just ignore them those callers with very low life with low poor jobs.

these people have been calling me for 2 years.  I dont know the person they are looking for, maybe previous owner of my #.  told them to remove me from their list, calls stopped for 1 year, now calling from a different #.  I will speak to a supervisor. wish me luck.

We've been getting calls from 804 234-9048 for months it seems and lately everyday.  I finally called them back to find out why they were calling.  They were looking for someone else, who used to have our phone number.  After my explanation, they removed removed our number from they data base.

This call is not for me.  The are asking for someone that does not live here.

Seems that they (AACC) have another number 804-234-9058.  They leve the same message that concertnancer above gets.  Only they are looking for me under a previous married name from 26 years ago.  I've never skipped out on a debt for 26 years later??  Give us a break!!  804 is in Richmond VA area.  ******ia Statue of Limitations is 7 years.  Ive been gone from that state for 15 years.

They call offering *** ****** **** at a deal.

I refuse to answer the phone when I see it is from them.  They call about every hour on the hour all day, even outside of fair debt collection hours.

GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER @ 8:45 am.  No message.  About 15 min. later an unknown number called.

Have gone phone call from these people! How can we block them from our cell phones?

They call me almost every night at dinner time.  I never answer, and they always leave a voicemail with nothing but dead air.  So annoying!

Have called many times with no message left.  This time left a message for someone with my first name but with the last name "Smith".  Coincidence?  Like above, there was a veiled threat of legal action

This Caller ID has appeared several times as AACC, and they recently c****ed their phone number to the 804 Area Code. I have a voice mail, but they contiinue to call without leaving a message. In some instances the previous calls from AACC did leave a voice mail. They are calliing for someone with the same last name, but theere is no relation to me. One of the White Pages Directories incorrectly listed the person they are attempting to contact under my phone number on the internet.I wrote the directory to request they make the corection. AACC should be in a position to verify their contact information before they harrass the wrong individual. It is also my understanding that threat of legal action by a collection agency is a***nst the law. Some of these companies use a program called "Skip Trace" by companies like Lexis-Nexis, http://www.lexisnexis.com. Lexis-Nexis should also be held liable for publishing "False Information" that results in the continued harrassment of individuals baased on the information they sell to these agencies.

Caller ID: AACCAsking for someone other than me.  Sounds like a collection agency.  Gives a toll free number to call back.  Veiled threat of legal action.

These people keep calling my home and cell phone number but will not state what debt is.  Call any time and numerous times everyday.

area code 804 = Richmond, VA(related area codes: 434, 757)(other VA area codes are 276 - 434 - 540 - 571 - 703 - 757)Had called back from a different phone to find out who "Call Center, VA" was. The recorded announcement ID'd "Asset Acceptance."I believe this was the outfit that called before looking for someone not here.  From what I've read, I think they're phishing for information to trump up a phoney collection.  I refuse to give out any information.I've been reading a lot about how these debt collectors are now being investigated by the FTC for illegal and criminal activities to get money out of people.  They don't care if people owe it or not.

Got a call from this number. It's a collection agency given the language of the message. Left a message but the name they were looking for is not me.
